IGN: Dixa. Credit to IGN Dusteh and Shiyn for building and testing.
Squirrel Girl is the first hero with expansive experimental changes for the Council of Ancients server. These changes were made for fun (and to make her comic accurate?) and as a preview of what can be done on this server as it prepares for Omega Difficulty™
Squirrel Friends - cap raised from 20 to 50. This is the largest increase in her damage potential
- Summons the same Elektra from the headband/bandana in her original non-fixed form. Grants you Rapid Healing and Invisibility, 50% summon damage, 913 Critical Damage Rating, and if you take the heavy shelling talent will also give you the benefits and detriments of Infernal Contract from Ghost Rider: Health reduced by 50%, +10% critical and brutal strike chance, +100% critical and brutal strike damage, +25% bonus damage and 30% damage resistance.
- This will give you 100% crit chance and 50% damage to your squirrels for 10 seconds and apply chill, slow, vulnerability and weaken.
She also has several additional Passives:
Taskmaster: She gains 1.5% base damage from every stat in addition to the 4% per fighting and speed. They now give 5.5% per point. In addition, 15% defense, deflect and dodge rating multiplier. +360 defense, deflect, dodge rating
Thing: Hard Knocks meter replaces her squirrel meter, giving her cc immunity when filled and maintained as well as 10% more damage and crit damage, some health regen and 5% attack speed
Groot: 20% base health increase, -3 speed and a 5% chance to summon a groot sapling.
Drax: +25% brutal strike chance, -10% crit hit chance
Domino: +1500 dodge rating when you crit or brut, +360 crit rating when you dodge
Venom: +5% damage, +5% crit hit multiplier, applies strengthened to everyone (+10% damage, +10% crit hit multiplier)
Rocket Raccoon: When a team up is summoned +15% base damage, 30% damage for the team up.
Her own passive granted twice (the +15% crit hit damage not the base dame from fighting and speed)
Summons inherit crit rating, crit damage rating, brutal strike rating, brutal strike damage and attack speed in addition to your highest damage type. They benefit very little from +summon damage unless you also have a combination of those 5 other stats on the piece but even then comparing the much higher summon damage on a trident vs savage axe (2000 vs 1400), the axe wins out in actual use due to the brutal strike damage. Since Squirrel Girl's summons always have 100% crit rate and they are the majority of her damage you dont need or want to chase crit rating beyond wht your high fighting stat and the above passives will provide.
Because of all of the above combined with the 50% cooldown reduction on the CoA EMU, we need to think a little differently about how we gear and play squirrel girl.
Clearing is all about your
and
. Changing Pick 'em Apart to Free Hugs on the 4th line of passives can also help with general clearing.
General bossing is Hitting with
, using
to summon all squirrels and then in this order
,
,
. Every use of
replaces all of your current squirrels and we want them (and Elektra) to snapshot the buffs from
and
. You can layer in
for the bleed but it's really not necessary if you wish to reduce your apm.
makes you invulnerable for 30s. Use this on a boss and just blast.
Damage can be upgraded from here by replacing
with
and
with
but we are talking very small increases at this point. Other upgrades include a
with all the brutal damage it can hold and likely replacing
with a brut damage/crit damage cosmic.
She can hit as low as 15s ttk on the standard dummy, 1:42-1:51 on the high health raid dummy. In fact her damage is so high she is still sub 2 minutes on the high health dummy using
which is fantastic since we are going to want to use that plus
when Omega difficulty lands until we get the sweet sweet Omega loot.
Why is there an empty power space? It's dealers choice as is the first row of passives. You do not want to use hulkbusters to consume your squirrels it's a net damage loss despite the burst of 50 hulkbuster squirrels. You can select Sneaky Squirrel Specialist in the first row of passives and use
before each
which will direct them all onto one target instead of the usual wandering around they do.
is also additional clear. The other option which I frequently use is
to move over terrain.
