Is Cyclops good? No. Is he worth leveling up ASAP for the extra 10% XP bonus? Also no. Is he one of the most popular heroes in MH anyways? Yes!

I'm a sucker for Ricochet Beam, I really enjoy it. Every time I play Cyclops I feel like I never have enough Spirit so I've tried to prioritize Spirit upkeep as much as I can while trying to take advantage of having access to all 3 types of damage with the Strike Teams.

There's several different builds for Cyclops around, this is what has been working best for me so far in end game content.

Cyclops is a Tactician archetype which means he benefits from Energy and Intelligence so we want to prioritize those attributes over any others.

Energy reduces Spirit Cost and lowers damage taken from Ranged attacks. Intelligence increase your Crit Damage Rating and shortens the cooldown of your Medkit. We will prioritize Intelligence over Energy where we can but Cyclops has serious spirit issues so feel free to stack some Energy if you need.

Rotation is

for Vulnerability,  for buffing, hold down  for single target or  for multiple targets. Use  and  on cooldown.

Hope other people are around to help or your spirit holds out long enough to kill what you're fighting.

is a great group buff so you will be helpful in group content.

Slot 1 Options

 - BiS in my opinion. Scott can be pretty fragile so I like the health and rez.

 - These have attack speed which help optic beam and some spirit recovery.

 - Really helps with spirit cost of Optic Beam but provides no survivability and marginal damage.

 - Achievement weapon for Doom Deathmatch that lines up nicely but is not very practical. I just have always wanted to put it in a build.

Slot 2 Options

 - Huge attribute boost and Health.

Cosmic with CHR, CDR, BDR and Cosmic Might would be worth testing out.

Slot 3 Options

 - Great damage and health.

 - A lot of damage mitigation but lacking in offense.

Cosmic with CHR, CDR, BDR might be worth testing out.

Slot 4 Options

 - Great damage and health.

 - Good survivability but middling damage.

Cosmic maybe?

Slot 5 Options

 - Great damage, some health, and a giant Energy proc.

 - Pretty balanced and has attack speed which helps optic beam.

 - Good damage for us and lines up well.

Artifact Options

 - Most important for spirit sustain.

 - Good for Cyke, we are a little crit starved.

 - Really good for us.

 - Helps with spirit sustain and adds some decent damage.

 - Pure damage option.

 - Big damage.

 - Balanced option for us.

 - Helps with spirit sustain but just okay damage.

 - Great damage option.

While you're leveling or building out your artifact stash prioritize anything with damage, crits, brutes, Intelligence, Energy, attack speed, health.

We are all 3 types of damage for Power Doop so straight energy damage only helps some skills.

Medallion Options

 - Good damage and survivability. Solid choice.

 - This is pretty good. Health, CHR, BSR, and Spirit Recovery

 - Lean into being the group buffer with this one.

 - Huge health and boosts damage.

 - Good balance between damage and survivability.

 - Good health with good help to damage.

 - Health, energy damage, and spirit sustain help.

 - Lots of stats that all help us.

Runeword Options

 - Must have for this build to do any kind of real damage.

 - Almost all of our skills are ranged.

 - Inexpensive placeholder.

 - Very inexpensive, okay.

 - Solid placeholder.

 - Best placeholder for helping maintain Spirit.

Ring Options

 - I love the versatility of Sling Ring and the Attack Speed is a nice touch.

 - Good balance between survivability and damage as well.

Legendary Options

 - I've been going with M'Kraan for the Spirit and Health with Damage.

 - Good damage, especially energy damage.

ilvl 70 choice -

Insignia Options

 - My favorite for Cyke but there are many good options. Probably best to use any you have that give Crit Hit and Crit Damage Rating. We do need brut as well but we have a lack of options for Cyke's crit.
