Venom inhabits the Enigma Force.

 

Build Concept

So for this build I set out to try to solve one of the big issues Venom tends to face for most new players coming in to playing him in Marvel Heroes.  This issue is clunkiness with getting used to weaving in Dark Tendrils to help with his resource needs.  While I have solved the resource "issues" the single target will take a small hit for this in raid / TTK scenarios.  That said I think this build is a very good "Daily Rider" version of the Venom Maw build and have been really enjoying it myself.  If the idea of dropping Dark Tendrils from your rotation entirely interests you keep reading!

 

Ichor Requirements

In order to drop Dark Tendrils from the build we'll need 60% cost reduction combined with some Ichor income sources.  To reach these cost reduction points we will be using  for our Medal,  in our slot 3, a -15% cost reduction while in combat cosmic artifact affix, 10% cost reduction from the 100 points in Mind Gem and even the Loki synergy to help make sure you hit the 60% point.

We then have to make sure we get some Ichor income sources to help keep us full.  Catalyst is a big one as we want spirit on hit and spirit on medkit affixes (bonus point if you can get double spirit on hit from both the catalyst affix and purple cosmic bonus though I don't have the affix only the cosmic bonus currently) and we are using We are Consuming in our first row talents and make sure    is always on cooldown.  The final piece to help keep things running smoothly is  (A cosmic one works as well).

 

Gear

As this is aimed to be an endgame build I am mostly going to speaking on 1 or two choices for each slot, though keep in mind some things are pretty locked in for cost reduction and Ichor needs.

Slot 1 : Weird, .  Until you get one I'd probably use  or 

Slot 2 : A cosmic with Cosmic might, Crit rating and Crit damage (with health 3rd roll not even BDR) was already performing best for this slot, even better with Brut damage as the third roll.  If you don't have one you can use .

Slot 3 :  is pretty necessary for the cost reduction.  It has good stats as well.

Slot 4 :  has been testing the best for me, though a crit rating/ crit dmg / brut dmg cosmic was very close.  A brut rating cosmic might be best here.  I'll try to find one to test.  Use until you get either.

Slot 5 :  not only gives us a vuln source but insane stats.  Get one!

Rings :  gives attack speed which Venom sorely needs to help speed up those animations.  Invuln on sig is nice as well as the rest of the stats.  A dur / Brutal rating ring is probably also fine but I prefer the Sling Ring.

Medallion :  is core.  Get as big of a cost reduction roll on it as you can.

Artifacts : I'm still testing some things though and were testing pretty locked in for my gear setup.  If I get a good crit cosmic on slot 4 I could see potentially dropping  for  though more testing is needed.   and also good options.

Rune word :  though you can use  until you get it.

Legendary : Use until you get the GLF reputation for the ilvl 80  (5 weeks!)

 

Rotation

Hold down 

Use  on cooldown.

Then you are going to use  to reposition and do some damage / healing while doing so.  I often use it to open combat.  Then use , and all charges of  (when signature is on cooldown!).  You will be repeating these abilities every 4 seconds while actively in combat.  Use medkit for the healing, spirit and shield on cooldown.

 

Some neat tech for bosses is that I only use  to position as close to the center of the boss hitbox as possible.  If you land correctly then all 3 projectiles of  will hit the boss everytime you cast it!  I tend to not use  very often in single target otherwise, mostly to reposition with damage and to try to do the hitbox trick.

 

Infinity Points

Here's my priority for spending my Infinity points! Early on you want to get 150 points in each gem for the +1 attribute benefit before moving on to the next gem.  Using this logic I do this :

Time Gem : 37 points in Temporal Loophole and 1 point in Time Gem Infusion

Mind Gem : 150 points in Mental Focus

Power Gem : 75 points in Strike Through

Space Gem : 6 points in Durability

Reality Gem : 150 points in Potency

From here you can go back to the Time Gem to finish off Temporal Loophole, get a point in each Infusion for the gems.  6-46 points in Superhuman in Power Gem (.6% is the breakpoint to get an extra 1% brut chance from it) is solid value and from there dump all of your points into Durability.
