My favorite build for patrolling.
This build is also viable for leveling/prestige however Consuming Arcfire talent (second row, first talent) can give you strong power spike at lvl 38. For leveling just use the alternative gear bellow + leveling artifacts.

Pros

  • Fun
  • Small windows of big bursts
  • AOE, press 1 button and clear entire screen. Good for objetives clearing
  • Easy rotation
  • No weaving

Cons

  • Not the biggest single target DPS.
  • Not optimized for long single target fights (raids)
  • Getting stuck without overheat and no signature feels bad.

 

 

Power Radius

15-20 power radius for a decent AOE, 2 ways to get:

Dont get both unique boots + doctor octopus medallion, you dont need that much AOE and you will lose a lot of damage.

In the other hand you can avoid all the power radius and go for full damage wise build, anyway it feels bad AF the radius of  and more important the radius of  if you have 0% powe radius.  With 15-20 power radius you can take some range to position yourself safer.

 

 

Powers

 

  • Filler:  and  both work the same way. You can use them while overheated and when you are not overheated. Use what you preffer, both performs similar in single target. If you can hit a lot of mobs that are stacked together just use 

 

 

Rotation

 

Open with the shit on the floor   to try to catch some procs and apply vulnerability. Hold down your filler  or . Then start with the rotation with signature  to buff, overheat and activate cosmic insignia and catalyst (in case you are using a signature cata). Into x2 . The goal is to use our flame tornados charges after the signature and with all the buffs we can.

After this the prio is:

  •  On CD, top prio.
  •  On signature buffs window use all charges.
  •  Never reach 2 charges, that means we are lossing charges
  •  On CD
  •  every 2 casts of . Our Scorching pyre have 4 secs cd and we are going to have a duration of 9~ on the wall. If you can get a duration on the wall of 12+ seconds simply use it every 3 . (High rolled durations + dr.doom medallion)
    You can have up to 3 walls active. However they dont stack, that means if we have 3 splited targets we can apply a wall on each target, but if all the target are stacked together and are hited by more than 1 wall only 1 deals damage.

Maybe sounds like a lot, but CDs align perfect to make an easy rotation: wall > pyre > tornado > pyre > tornado.

 Can perform better than other alternatives when it fix your spirit problems and mantain you overheated permanently. However this build is more focused for terminals/patrols and you will get signature CD back between pulls / bosses.


Unique slots alternatives

  • Slot 1: 
  • Slot 2: >
  • Slot 3: No alternative, we using human torch Unique. Easy to get
  • Slot 4:  High rolled CDR+BSR+BDR (Or CHR+CDR+BDR). I preffer BSR than CHR just because  have a 100% crit chance.

Ring alternative

 (High rolled CDR + BDR/BSR) >(Not that good for flare tho)> Any other cosmic ring combinations (Energy/Speed/CHR/CDR/BSR/BDR)

 

Insignia alternative

, General good damage rating to all. Can be better than Quake on full single target situations.

 this 2 are also viable, but i dont feel ranged damage is good enough for that build, as  and  are not ranged and this 2 powers are the core of the build.

 

Medallion alternative

  is as good as Ultron, means you have to choose depends of whatever you get with higher rolls

 Less damage rating, 0 defensive, power radius and a bit of crit rating for area to compensate.

 Just damage rating, generic damage rating get higher than ultron/doom but also apply a second layer of damage rating for the damage over time. This damage over time only applies to the wall and to the Scorching pyre damage over time (not the explosion when cast). Doesnt affect to the Flame cyclone even when the cyclone has a burn tag and a "energy twice per second" tooltip, i guess is just Gaz... So not that good... Still have to test a High Rolled electro medallion.
