Let's get this out of the way, Nick Fury is not a strong hero. I usually make pros and cons for heroes, but I'm not doing it for Fury because it would be more cons than pros. However, contrary to popular belief, he is not the worst or lowest damage hero in the game. Don't expect to tear up leaderboards with this build, but this is an alternative to the summon build that most guides focus on and it's good damage and clear...for Fury.

I am aware End It  puts Fury within close range of enemies, and he's not tanky, but Heads Down  is a close range aoe power that grants a second of invulnerability, so it's not that risky being up close.

If you want to be a pure gunner, then you can pick the middle two talents in each row. The first row middle talent is decent for ttl. I personally think the second row talents are all atrocious outside of the CQC summon.

Gear

Artifacts: Honestly, the only artifact I'm 100% confident in the top 4 is Elektra's Mask/Bandana because Fury actually has a lot of variance when ttking. Fury has a 30 second signature which lines up perfectly with Elektra's cooldown, and his damage is low so Elektra is definitely a boost to his damage. You don't want the -10% signature cooldown affix because it messes up Elektra timing. I recommend ttl affixes for the cosmic artifacts to tank up Fury a bit.

Other good artifacts are: . In fact, Cybernetic Implant is likely a necessity at low IP.

Starter artifacts: .

Slot 1: If you don't have a , then  or his own  are good.

Slot 2: If you don't have a Kraven's, use a cosmic or his own slot 2 .

Insignia: I actually used an Insignia of She-Hulk, but bugle is not letting me select it. Wasp is likely best in slot, with Taskmaster and She-Hulk not being too far behind. Eric O'Grady is also good.

Rotation

To start:  ->  ->  ->  ->  ->  -> If you have ammo above 25%, then hold  down until it's below 25% and use any remaining charges on  and  if they exist. Make sure you are hitting  ASAP while the signature buff is going.

If Danger Close  is off cooldown and there's 4 or less seconds remaining on the signature cooldown, wait until  is used, and then resume hitting . It's important you get the reduced cooldown from the signature buff when using Danger Close.

Don't be surprised if the rotation falls apart because Nick Fury needs to dodge attacks, and he can't drain ammo quickly. Just make sure you always reload below 25% ammo.

Hopefully this helps the Fury fans out there, if there are any outside of Lil.
