I'm aware Squirrel Girl's catchphrase is, "Let's go Tippy Toe", that's the joke. This build uses no Tippy Toe item.
Squirrel Girl is great if you like...
- High damage heroes with big burst. Squirrel Girl is easily in the upper echelon of ttk/dps heroes.
- Squirrels!!! Squirrel Girl floods the screen with squirrels.
- Thanks to the squirrels, Squirrel Girl has big aoe.
- Mobility and clear. Thanks to dive bomb and squirrel twirl, Squirrel Girl can quickly travel and clear mobs. Squirrelpocalypse and It's Raining Rodents! are big aoe powers.
- Thanks to the above, Squirrel Girl is a very fast terminal farmer.
Don't play Squirrel Girl if you don't like...
- Squishy heroes. Squirrel Girl has no defensive or ttl mechanics with this build. This is a glass cannon hero and build.
- Spirit-hungry heroes. Squirrel Girl has spirit issues, and thanks to the cooldown refreshes, this build devours spirit and medkits. Spirit sustain gear is a must.
- A frantic, active hero for farming. Thanks to the low cooldowns, Squirrel Girl has a very active and borderline spammy rotation for farming.
I might write a more detailed guide later, but I wanted to post the build because it's different enough from Lozareth's that it warrants a guide. The basic premise of this build is pushing the signature cooldown with both the fourth row, "Free Hugs!" talent, and the -10% signature cooldown cosmic affix. With the low cooldown signature and cooldown refreshes, you are frequently pumping out Hulkbuster Squirrels and Sic 'em and flooding the screen with squirrels and burst. Also, the gearing veers away from power duration because Squirrel Girl's signature, the main reason to invest in power duration, is actually not a big part of her damage profile, so it's better to focus on raw dps instead of power duration.
There's probably some more artifact tinkering possible with this build, but Encephalo Beam is very useful for the spirit sustain.
For IP, you can invest in the potency node in reality gem. The dps is very similar to investing another 6 points into fighting, and it helps for terminals.
Rotation:
To start:
->
->
->
->
->
->
->
->
->
->
, hold down
, hit powers off cooldown.
Make sure after the starting rotation always use Hulkbuster Squirrels
, before
, so you always have a full supply of squirrels for your other powers.
After each signature, hit
->
->
->
->
.
After each Dive Bomb,
, Squirrel Twirl
. The timers don't line up perfectly but it's a reliable way to maintain the Squirrel Twirl bleed.
TTK and Terminals:
1:15 TTK 1501 IP, Level 20 Ult
Terminals - 1493 IP, Level 20 Ult
0:53 Kurse
1:38 Ultron
