Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Thor.

Big thanks to Lil for the guide format and making these up for the community!

Set Up

I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.

This build comfortably did the Trial with about 120+ seconds left on both boss phases.  Clea helps a lot with the survivability, very little dodging required.  I mostly use the dash to position.

Synergies

We're focusing on our archetype stats - Strength and Energy - after that we're going for Crit for our damage types and Physical / Energy damage. Squirrel Girl and Wolverine as well of course for boss damage and bruts.

Infinities

I put 150 ranks into Mental Focus in the Mind Gem.  Mind Gem bonuses give us some help with survivability and Spirit cost reduction helps smooth out gameplay.

Gear

For legendary  gives us lots of crit to get us started, with this set up I had about 48% crit before in combat buffs.

For artifacts   , ,   and give us lots of damage.  You can farm all of them in Midtown waves!

Slot 1 : is preferred but is fine.

Slot 2 : is preferred if you have it.

Slot 3 :  is easy to farm and better, try to get one.

Slot 4 : is preferred but is fine.

Slot 5 : is likely BIS until raid gear, but gets the job done.  For the video I just had a random slot 5 rare I got while farming MM Monday while leveling Thor.

For the ring slot a decent rare is good enough, otherwise an energy will give you some solid stats.

Team Up

Clea does everything we need, she groups enemies together and gives two defensive layer buffs, very good.

Playstyle

This Thor build has a little bit of play to it rotationally.

Hold down  on your main target.

Use on CD for damage and to fill our Odinforce gauge.

Use on CD when you have Odinforce.

 Use on CD when you have Odinforce.

 Use on CD.

 Use on CD, make sure you have Vulnerable debuff up before for max damage!

Use this when all of your other abilities are on CD as it will reset the CD of , , , and

Follow the rotation from the top.

I tend to use  on the Hydra Hulk Buster wave- though in all honesty it's unnecessary as you can see I didn't even use it in the video.
