Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Iron Man.
Big thanks to Lil for the guide format and making these up for the community!
Set Up
I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.
This build comfortably did the Trial with about 55-60 seconds left on both boss phases. A little dodging required, but Clea helps a lot with the survivability.
Synergies
We're focusing on our archetype stats - Intelligence and Energy - after that we're going for Crit for our damage types and Physical / Energy damage. Squirrel Girl and Wolverine as well of course for boss damage and bruts.
Infinities
I put 75 ranks into Deep Thought in the Mind Gem. Mind Gem bonuses give us some help with survivability and Spirit helps smooth out Iron Man's kit and gives damage.
Gear
For legendary 
is best for early gearing
For artifacts Iron Man needs help with damage so

give us lots of damage. You can farm all of them in Midtown waves!
Slot 1 : 
is preferred but Iron Man's slot 1 is fine.
Slot 2 : 
is great.
Slot 3 : 
is easy to farm and better, try to get one.
Slot 4 :

is good.
You can farm shared quests and SSB for the ring, though 
is also very nice if you get that out of SSB instead.
Team Up
Clea does everything Iron Man needs, she groups enemies together and gives two defensive layer buffs for him.
Playstyle
Iron Man is very straight forward rotationally.
Hold down 
on your main target.
Hover your mouse of the target when using 
and use it on cooldown, it doesn't have an animation so no real loss if the zones overlap.

I tend to use 
on the Hydra Hulk Buster wave- they don't do much but they help a little.
