Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Doctor Strange. Note: This is NOT the best Doctor Strange. It is NOT end game Doctor Strange. You will not find the BiS items in this build. 

Set Up

I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.

Not all end game builds work equally well with less IP and gear. I tried a couple of the builds that already existed and found one that worked well to get through the Cosmic Trial. 

Synergies

I do not have Magneto, SW, Human Torch or Emma Frost leveled up yet. All of those I would strongly consider swapping in.

Infinities

I went with The Mind Gem - Deep Thought I was having some spirit issues while leveling. Our first row talent gives us back 10% spirit - more max spirit means more spirit restored. I had zero spirit issues during the Trial.

GEAR

- I went with the defensive option since I don't have dash on my bar and Dr. Strange has plenty of damage.

 

 and  are my go to beefy artifact options. As I mentioned above, no dash so we want some more effective HP.  and  are decent damage options that are pretty easy to farm up.

His own uniques work great for slot 1-5.There's better in some slots but we're trying to make gear as easy to get as we can.

For the medkit you want the shield on med kit use. Other than that prioritize your stats (Int, Fighting), health, and health on hit. + to spirit on medkit use is also nice.

Team Up

Jessica Jones is kind of becoming my default here. The grouping is just too good.

Playstyle

Basically we are going to hit whatever cool downs we want to when they're up. Every button on our bar except for  is an incantation. Incantations fill our Mystic Energy bar (purple bar above our xp bar). When we use an incantation with a full mystic energy bar it gives us HP and Spirit and refreshes our incantation CDs. The only thing we really need to think about is to make sure we use  and then  within 3s. So use these two in order.

- Use this then make sure to use  within 3s.

- Use on CD - short(ish) range cone.

-Use on CD- applies weaken and slows.

- Use on CD- Gives you a damage boost and damage reduction.

- Use on CD. Using incantations w/ full mystic essence will lower the CD. Cool eye ball that floats above you and shoots shit.

- Use on CD. DoT plus immobilize.

- Use on CD. DoT.

- Use within 3s of .
