Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Nick Fury. Note: This is NOT the best Nick Fury. It is NOT end game Nick Fury. You will not find the BiS items in this build.

Set Up

I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.

Not all end game builds work equally well with less IP and gear. I tried a couple of the builds that already existed and found one that worked well to get through the Cosmic Trial.

Nick Fury has a weird mechanic with Ammo + A reload. Most of his skills don't refresh their CD on their own. You have to use your  to reset them. On the upside this mechanic allows you to be very bursty - on the downside it can be a little unwieldy.

Synergies

I used the best of what I had. We're focused on physical damage and crit/ brutal damage. Health is always nice on Fury. Notables that I do not have on my build: Ultron and Beast for + Int. War Machine for +1 fighting. Hawkeye has Crit damage and Moon Knight has Phys Crit.

Infinities

As I said in the Set Up. I capped myself at 150 (ish) IP. I put 38 ranks into Temporal Loophole in the Time Stone. Attack Speed and Movement Speed are both incredibly powerful.

Gear

I went with a  for my legendary.

Nick's own slot 1-5 uniques got through this just fine. I used random challenge bonus recipe on my uniques and just took fighting or int whichever one I got first. If you're investing specific challenge bonuses I'd recommend Intelligence.

   - all of these add desired damge stats and/or archetype stats.     are other options you might have from farming midtown or Odin's Palace terminal that could be good as well.

Use Hela Blessings on your artifacts. They can be transferred to new artifacts when you find better. A good source of power early on.

- I did have runeword on.  would be way better. I honestly think if you're fine on your reload mechanic and you don't find yourself short on ammo then don't use . I usually try to keep my max ammo as low as possible.

 - Not much to say here. We like the stats and we do have the area and ranged damage in our kit to keep both buffs active and get the +2 Int.

- This is a fine choice and maybe a bit easier to get. If you have a  (or the physical version) I'd use that instead.

- I used wasp because it was what I had around. Mine had Crit damage and area damage on it. Crit hit/Crit Damage would be better but as long as you pick stats you're going to benefit from its probably fine.

- Shield on Medkit use! You can also get the health and spirit on medkit use if you want. The health boost is nice, but if you use it when you're trying to dump ammo it gives you 100 ammo back. I tend to avoid it but do what works for you. Use the crafter to put Critical Damage affixes on all 4 slots as well.

Team Up

Jessica Jones is the right choice. THe grouping is great and helps to keep enemies off of Nick, but I felt it was only right to use Coulson.

Playstyle

Roll alot. Stay on the move. Standing still will absolutely get you killed.

- Our filler, what we spend our ammo on. Has decent damage.

-Refills our ammo and resets our Cooldowns, except for  and .

- Decent damage. 7s CD. 2s CD when used right after . Ideally pop your sig then you can get off 2, maybe a 3rd one of these in the time you'd normally only get one.

-High Damage, Execute. Teleports you into melee. Will reset if you kill with it. Useful for mobility to get in range for . Or use last in your rotation for most damage.

-Roll + Stealth. Always be moving.

-Signature - gives damage bonus, also buffs your passive summons.

- Highest damage source. Guaranteed brutal strike in the middle of the grenade.

- Applies vulnerable. Basically melee range. 1s invulnerable.

Basic Rotation.  >  >  > >  >  That's your ideal open. Blow through your CDs. Then use your  to drain your ammo until its in the red. Only Reload when your ammo is in the red. Gives you a damage bonus and a shorter CD on your reload.

Hopefully this helps you clear the Cosmic Trial so that you can start farming your best gear and move on to bigger and better content and bigger and better guides! Have fun out there.

Thanks!

 Lil
