Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Angela. Note: This is NOT the best Angela. It is NOT end game Angela. You will not find the BiS items in this build. This build is very similar to the one I use on my Cosmic Angela. Check Mik's build for other gearing options.

*This guides were made before crafting/enchanting were working again. If you were to follow this build and add a runeword to your uru or blessings on your artifact - it would only make your task even easier. If you do not have the resources to enchant your artifacts or put a runeword on your uru the trial is doable without those and this build did.

Same thing goes for the pet. This build cleared the trial w/out a pet. I threw one in the build to show you some affixes that could be useful.*

Set Up

I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.

Not all end game builds work equally well with less IP and gear. I tried a couple of the builds that already existed and found one that worked well to get through the Cosmic Trial. Angela's damage cleared pretty easily with over a minute to spare on both Madame Hydra and Red Skull. Her only chance to fail was by dying. So either play with your eyes open or build even more defensively than I already did.

Synergies

I did not have access to every synergy. I just grabbed what I had. When grabbing synergies you want to make sure to focus on your character's archetype stats and then their damage type. Wolverine is good on pretty much everyone for the brut bonus.

Infinities

Alot of times my first go to with Infinities is the attack and movement speed node (Remilla does a great job explaining attack speed and the infinity system @RemiFromMH on YT) in the Time Stone - (Temporal Loophole). For Angela I wanted to have over 1250 Heaven's wrath so I went in the Mind Stone. I put points in Deep Thought until I had the Heaven's Wrath I wanted and the rest I put into Mental Focus for the bonus to crit damage. I wanted to put all 150 in one gem to get the bonus stats.

Gear

I ended up using  it's a great damage option for most heroes. As I mentioned earlier Angela's damage was plenty high and dying seemed to be the only way to fail the Cosmic Trial, she clears the DPS check. So if you find that you're dying feel free to swap to a .

 

In slot 1-5 I used Angela's Uniques. Should be pretty simple to find. At the crafter you can add a "Challenge Bonus" to each piece. You definitely want one of her two archetype stats (Speed or Durability) if using specific tokens I'd take Durability. If you using random tokens take whichever one you get first.

I focused on defense mostly with my artifacts. All of them offer some combination of defense, health, strength and durability (which is an archetype stat for Angela so it also provides damage). I also appreciated the shields that could proc occasionally. Adding Blessing of Hela to your artifacts is a great way to add damage for the trial. 

Another key item is your catalyst. Try to make sure and get the Cosmic Affix to get a 50% health shield when you use your med kit. Adds a ton to your survivability.

Team Up

Jessica Jones has great grouping ability and helps in content by pulling enemies together for you.

Playstyle

Basically we're going to spam all our abilities on CD until our Wrath fills all the way. At this point all of your abilities will glow and they will now spend wrath but instantly refresh your CD. Be careful not to dash or use other abilities when your wrath is full. We want to spend all our wrath on .

 - This is bound to my left click. I use it as filler when everything else is on CD. It gives a small amount of health on hit and a very small amount of wrath. It is not your main way of filling your Wrath bar or a significant drain tank. Pure filler w/ small extras.

  - Used on CD to generate Heaven's Wrath.

- Decent area attack. Has knockdown. Also used on CD to generate wrath.

- Before you get your level 56 talent this signature will dash you around a couple times. After picking up the talent I chose in the final row you will just spam the ribbons attack and not dash about. It will give you a chunk of damage and do more damage to bleeding targets. 

- Our main damaging CD. Ideally we will spend all of our Heaven's Wrath uptime on this ability.

- There to generate Wrath. Our talent in row 1 make our sword powers generate 50% more wrath.

- Decent AOE damage. Mostly it makes you invulnerable for the duration. Useful for clearing trash and avoiding damage while doing so.
