Hello Knights of Khonshu!

Finally decided to get around to finishing this guide, so here we go! When I started back up with MHO on Tahiti I became obsessed with figuring out an immortal build for Moon Knight, I knew there HAD to be some setup you could get to where you had less than a second downtime on
(ultimately comes down to user input) and am happy to say it is very much possible and not only that within a .5-1 second interval in normal play.
Favor for Khonshu
The key to this is meeting the Favor / Spirit breakpoint and enough regen to fill it on time, each is crucial to it all coming together in a nice moon shaped package :
1200 Favor breakpoint the sweet spot for duration and helps us avoid too high of a spirit regen requirement to refill, we use enchants, some gear, Team-UP and Infinity to get to this breakpoint
and
are likely the biggest contributors to Favor income on the entire build (except the Team-Up)
Catalyst with 100 spirit on medkit use (we use it on cooldown) , +5 spirit on hit (1s cooldown) and a Spirit roll helps a lot
Mordo set to away equipped with When Team-Up Away effect is triggered, you gain 25 spirit gear
Other small spirit income sources such as
, Rogue Synergy, +3 spirit on basic hit pet affix (still can't get a roll on mine but would absolutely finish it when I do) and
help get us to that more consistent breakpoint for the build to fully come online
Gear
Slot 1 : Until you get ahold of a
Moon Knight's own slot 1
are quite good.
Slot 2 :
is great and tested the best for me.
is also good for getting some more power duration in the build, though I prefer Lockley's. It is possible a Cosmic Might slot 2 would be worthwhile, though I'd have to get a good roll to test.
Slot 3 : Even though some of the stats are effectively wasted post BUE
has a lot of synergy with the playstyle and power duration which is good to get into the build somewhere though not too much is necessary.
Slot 4 :
is best no question in any Moon Knight build that utilizes Avatar.
Slot 5 :
is crucial for Favor generation and is a very large damage boost on top. Perfect item.
For medallions
is a great package of stats for us. Not only does it have some small favor gain, the stealth is fantastic and the medal rewards us for using our medkit on cooldown (which we want to be doing anyways for the favor gain). If you haven't gotten one yet out of SSB farming
is among the best for raw damage.
is also good for buff uptime.
For Runewords
is obviously best for damage and Favor generation, but until you get one you can use
to help smooth out the early gameplay. Or you can slam
for some raw damage to transfer to a ranged character later after you get Power Doop.
For Ring slot a well rolled Brut rating +3 Dur Cosmic ring
tested best of what I had,
are also great and suggested to use until you get a good Cosmic.
Artifacts :
and
provide necessary things other artifacts don't really fill for this build and are core for this reason.
is the best damage for us so gets the third slot.
The only slot in question to me is the final slot but I use
because it contributes solid damage but most important has a lot of QOL baked into it for this playstyle. Not only does the damage shield help a lot in situations but the favor generation from orbs helps the Avatar rotation. For these reasons it is locked in for me but if you don't have one or want to use something else you can of course do so.
Honorable mentions :
tends to do well if you don't use the 10% sig CD Cosmic affix.

Combat Rotation
Core rotation is pretty normal for any Moon Knight Gauntlet build.

Mash that medkit on cooldown and let

rip whenever available
With proper uptime and ability use you will have incredibly small to no downtime between Avatar windows! Don't forget to use dash to avoid or break CCs!
Team-up
Mordo is the best Team-Up for this build in my opinion, he has a lot of amazing things for the build. First his passive while away benefit is perfect for helping us get to the 1200 Favor breakpoint and Favor regen, also his while away specific abilities are pretty crucial to a smooth playstyle for me personally. The defensive proc helps a lot to ensure you don't die in the very short periods between Avatar and the other abilities trigger so frequently it ensures you will trigger "When Team-Up Away effect is triggered, you gain 25 spirit" (from his cosmic affixes on the Team-up gear). In my testing it seemed each one had an ICD so Mordo having so many procs available tested the best for me with this.
Many swear by Deadpool variants on away as well, also a good choice.
For active Team-Ups the usual suspects (Coulson, JJ, Clea, Quicksilver, Deadpool variants, Wolverine) are also all good, though the spirit on away trigger gear is pretty crucial for the build feeling comfortable so I would advise against active Team-Ups for Mr. Knight for this reason.
Gameplay Videos
I'll link some Entry (150 IP, i70 legendary, epic insigs, i63-66 uniques, no rare event gear, no power doop etc) videos I recorded for the datasheet we're working on over in the Tahiti discord. These videos should give you an idea that even without the perfect itemization and breakpoints the build is still incredibly functional and powerful, even in early-ish gearing. Ultron run had some issues with desync and some unlucky rocket hits from the 2nd guy (cosmic might hurts) was still a sub 3 min Ultron run even with all of these limitations in place.
I'll continue to work on and iterate on the build as I keep playing it. Hope you can enjoy the trip with me!
