[Intro]

Cable has 3 builds possibilities: melee psimitar (mental), ranged psion (mental) and ranged arsenal (energy). From all 3, the energy one has the worst performance. But since it's my favorite spec, I decided to create a guide!

This is a ranged area build that does energy damage. I've tested it to farm cosmic content, had no problems so far. It centers around Techno-Organic Soldier trait, so we also have a mental power to apply vulnerability/DoT and a psimitar dash to apply weaken/DoT.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Traits]

Psychic Interference: basically in this row we choose our vulnerability power. Since psion is not our focus and we need to pick one of each talent for T-O trait, we go with this one.

Techno-Organic Soldier: no brainer, our build centers around it. Greatly increases our stats while in combat.

Sub-space Vortex: in this row we choose our spender. Since that's an energy focused build, we pick this one. It also adds a DoT to .

Weapons Expert: in this row we choose our signature damage type. This one makes buff our arsenal powers.

Lethal Lunge: we still need a spear talent for T-O trait. Adds a DoT to .

[Powers}

: our main spender. Costs no spirit and has a damage bonus for criticals and brutals.

: vulnerability and area DoT.

: area DoT. Pulling enemies to the center of the AoE helps you clear stuff faster.

: I use this to weave. If you're not a fan of it, replace for some other power, like for example.

: DoT and buffs our arsenal powers.

: signature. Good AoE damage burst with taunt mechanic.

: huge area debuff! +35% extra damage to enemies and -35% damage taken is awesome!

: our dash. Applies weaken and a DoT.

[Gear]

Cable doesn't stack CHR that easily, so we're gonna focus on that a little bit.

: +20% base damage against bosses, and some more extra damage rating. Helps a lot to farm bosses.

: CHR, BSR, and lots of BDR. It's an excelent offensive item.

: CDR, BDR, base damage, +3 fighting. Another good offensive item.

: excelent CHR/CDR and BSR/BDR numbers.

: BiS, great CDR/BDR and health numbers, plus the procs are very consistent.

: has better stats than his own unique. Also gives power duration, which our DoTs benefits from.

: good BSR/BDR and archetype stats numbers. 5% change to ignore damage is really nice.

: good BSR/BDR and HP numbers. is also good to stack CHR, but doesn't offer power duration.

: using this because of the proc. You can easily reach 100% uptime with Cable.

: damage rating, health and  the most important: power duration.

 : I consider this the best DPS option, but you can use too.

: CDR, BSR and +3 energy. You can use an energy or ranged as well.

: I always use this Uru, since +800 defense is way more impactant than +200 some other stat.

: Cable benefits from both mental and energy procs, which means more CDR and damage rating.

: gives around 13% CDR. and are also viable options.

: actually, any insignia with CHR and/or CDR is good enough.

: the most important thing here is the health/spirit recovery and the 50% damage shield, the rest is not mandatory.

Other options:

If you don't like or any other artifact choice, and are good choices too.

In case you don't have a piece of gear I've mentioned, you can always use his own uniques.

[Infinity]

If you don't have 1050 Infinity Points yet, here's the priority:

Mind (Mind Over Matter -> Mental Focus) -> Power (Strike Through -> Superhuman) -> Space (Gravity Well -> Micro-Warps) -> Time (Temporal Loophole).

If you have more than 1050, I suggest you putting more points into Gravity Well or Temporal Loophole.

[Rotations]

 Lock your target with, followed by and to apply debbufs. Then use to buff arsenal powers and apply DoT. Using to weave is up to you. If you don't like, just replace it for a power of your liking and put it into your rotation. Always use  when it's off cooldown. Repeat.

Here's a 2:43 TTK video from @bobovindo, using to weave.

[Conclusions]

Since this guide uses the worst of his 3 build specs, that's a build for those who enjoys using big futuristic guns to shoot bad guys without distinction. With the Infinity nodes you can get up to:

-49.2% CHR;

-47.1% BSR;

-407% CDR (352% + 30% from CDR node + 25% from T-O trait);

-786.8% BDR (656.8% + 30% from CDR node + 75% from BDR node + 25% from T-O trait);

-Around 30k HP or more (20k + 125% from health node + 25% from T-O trait);

Just keep in mind those values are from perfect rolls, so you'll get slightly lower stats depending on what you have.

That's pretty much it, hope you enjoyed my guide. I'm not a Cable expert, so huge thanks to @bobovindo for helping me out.  Any critics/suggestions/feedback are welcome.

Peace!
