Build updated for Tahiti server. (Welcome Back!)
3-28-26
Currently playing on Council of Ancients server. No power/talent changes needed, everything is just much quicker thanks to the 50% CD. You will be using your sig Much more often.
Powers & Talents
Powers and Talents are still the same. Use
(with the Extra Impact talent) to generate your trick arrows, then use
and
(with Quick Draw) to spend them quickly. The constant trick arrows firing along with use of a low-cooldown signature make for a deceptively strong AoE clearing hero. Transforming Wave Of Arrows into
gives you a taunt and a weaken in the same power, and frees up a power slot. That gives room for
on your bar, which helps keep Hawkeye upright (and surrounding heroes) in cosmic patrols and other tougher content. Having a heal on you bar also allows more freedom to use your medkit to get a stat buff from
.
Infinity
This is a pretty basic infinity allocation. Going with the attack speed first feels very good for a hero that uses a basic power as a "spender" like Hawkeye. If you aren't as big a fan of health over 30k as I am, you could add those points into fighting & intel right away. Past 700 points, go fight & intel. I'd prioritize fighting first but you'll eventually see diminishing returns with crit hit and then go into int. Also, if you are working with an ungodly amount of infinity points, I'd max the signature damage node. Can't hurt. If you feel you need more defensive help than just raw health, you could postpone the fight/int dump and add health on hit.
Synergy
I like Mr. Fantastic more for the crafting than the crit damage, so it's more optimal to switch that to She-Hulk for a bit more physical damage. Also Blade becomes less useful if you've gone over 30% attack speed without it, so that could switch to She-Hulk or Luke Cage as well.
Gearing
This is what I'm currently using in game. Except for that Wasp Insignia, which is just what I Wish I could find. I seem to get by just fine without a FoT, also the
is just too perfectly itemized to pass up for Hawkeye. If you plan to "main" Hawkeye with this build, that should be your first purchase with commendations. Even the IG63 version is a major damage upgrade.
and
are good items but Hawkeye's own uniques get the job done, as well. The
is well itemized for Hawkeye, but I mostly use it for the revive. Even the best players get trucked by Juggernaut sometimes...
Full disclosure, I don't math this game out to get the absolute best ttk (no disrespect to those who do!) so if you need that, this might not be the best gear for you. This is just a solid Hawkeye build with a simple, easy rotation. Everything I use works extremely well for Hawkeye, but it's possible you can do better. If you're interested in theorycrafting gear for this build to get the most optimal damage please do! I'd be interested to hear it. That is simply not where the fun lies for me in playing games.
Thank you for reading, and if you play this build I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
