Chelebelle's Murder Bunny X-23 Build for Cosmic Content

WELCOME BACK FAM.  I'll update this once I get to leveling Laura in Tahiti.

This is an abbreviated version of my build guide, for quick reference and viewing in one easy space.  I'm not going to go super indepth into my gearing selections, because I've done so on the MH Forums, but if you've any questions feel free to ask them in either place and I'll get back to you! This is NOT a mix/maxers guide to how to kill dummies the fastest ever.  This is a build intended to complete, and farm, cosmic level content (and hopefully soon, Omega!).  Something Laura does with the greatest of ease when geared a little defensively.

Items of Note: In game, my damage reduction sits at 57% currently, with 95k effective HP while not in combat. Both go up while I am.  The shield of perseus is quite honestly overkill for the current content, and when I'm rushing terminals I swap to Savage Axes.  I can complete all content with axes, it's just easier with the shield.  I'm assuming the difference between what's shown and what's in game comes down to my team-up gear, which I've specialized towards defense and physical/melee damage.

 Set-Up:  >  > 5 Charges of
Rotation: Hold down ,   >  >  >  > 2 Charges of .

Use as many charges of your Signature as you have available when you reach that point of your rotation. If you got CCed through one of your cooldowns (I promise, this will happen at least occasionally. The amount of chain stunning is unreal right now) and have only managed to get one active, go ahead and use it and just begin again.

If you're using more power cost reduction, or have a bigger Wrath pool you'll have a bit more wiggle room before Laura tells you she's 'exhausted.' Spend your Infinity points in such a way that gets you to your comfort zone.  Her Ultimate is the only time I struggle because of the attack speed, and will probably be the only time you really need to watch your Wrath. If you're burning through it too quickly, lay off the Capoeira and focus on your cooldowns and Signature.

It is very important to make sure to use one of your cooldowns at the end of a boss fight.

This is the part that will take the most practice. Don't leave yourself without a Charge to start off your next fight, unless you're about to zone to go do something else, or are heading to the hub to sort all your Phat Lewt that you earned fighting all those Cosmic Jerks with the greatest of ease.

Talents

Of the five tiers of talents, there are really only two where you have much choice to make. The other three are, more or less, mandatory to make this rotation function smoothly.

Tier One: Keep Moving

  • 10% Movement Power Damage and 50 Wrath restored with Movement Power usage. Though there are only three powers tagged Movement in this build, and one of them does no damage, the important part is the synergy with her signature. Dancing Blades really is the star of this build, and anything we can do to buff its damage is great.

Tier Two: Deadly Grace

  • Mandatory because it reduces Cyclone Kick's cooldown to 4 seconds, a functionality that used to be baked into the skill. Unfortunately this keeps us from adding a Bleed back onto her Leap. It also gives our Rending Leap a 25% chance to reset our two non-Sig cooldowns, but I honestly see it happen very rarely and it was not a factor in this talent choice. Maybe someday it will be replaced with something more useful.

Tier Three: Unexpected Recovery

  • This Tier gives you a bit more choice, and none of them are bad options. Accelerated Healing Factor and Slippery Target will beef up your Damage Reduction a little more. However, I've found the Invisibility and 20% Health/Second combined to be too valuable for me to pass up while doing Cosmic content.

Tier Four: Building Ferocity

  • Another Tier where you can choose. If you want more charges on Rending Leap you can take Bloody Leap, but I prefer the other option. Building Ferocity synergizes with Capoeira to give you a stacking crit buff to apply to the next of your two cooldowns, 20% for each stack meaning that at 5 you will have 100% Crit Chance. The talents will be highlighted in green on your bar when this is ready to use for max effect, but after a while you won't need to look. You will easily be able to reach the fifth stack just in time to use Cyclone Kick or Execute.

Tier Five: Footwork

  • Again, mandatory. Blade Rush just does not compete, and Blade Trance is the same as Footwork, only meant for Bleed builds. This is key to constantly refilling your Wrath bar. Cyclone Kick and Open the Jugular used during Killer Trance will regenerate signature charges, keeping you constantly in the buff, and constantly able to use her wonderful Dancing Blades.
