Hey all! Welcome to the TBUE patch!

With access to Omega level difficulty, it's time to beef up our defenses and take advantage of recent buffs! This is a No-Serum cruise control build that will focus on stacking Deflect rating to boost our abilities and skyrocket our effective hp with a minimal hit to damage output! This will be a WiP as I acquire and test out new Omega items.

Rotation/Priority:

Once you are rolling you will simply use all the serum abilities after each other in a 1-2-3 fashion.

•   Use this off cooldown to boost the attack/move speed of our group.

•   Hold this down and go to town.

•  AoE clear and applies vulnerability.

•  Massive AoE damage sig. Also boosts damage and deflect.

•  Hard hitting frontal with a small cone (watch your aim) that's boosted by deflect rating.

•   Hard-hitting AoE.

•  You can use this on cooldown, or as needed. Short cooldown with a tremendous defensive benefit.

If you find your defenses adequate and miss throwing your shield around, feel free to spec into 2:2 and 3:1 or 3:2 and swap this out for shield toss (same priority). Shield bounce may be more fun, but it'll delay Torqued Shield Throw while it's out doing its business.

Alternative Gear Choices:

There are plenty of choices here. This build focuses on Deflect more than the typical crit/brut stacking builds, so the numbers are very close and consistent. Some of the gearing choices may come down to a well-rolled item vs low rolls. This build is also a heavy spirit drain, which could also influence your choices.

Slot 1:

• Fragment is light-years ahead of anything else. Both of cap's shields can be used as a placeholder and yeap, that's a murumasa blade with an honorable mention. The rolls will dictate which of these perform the best, but even a perfect roll doesn't hold a candle to a Fragment.

Slot 2:

• A cosmic An Omega will likely win out here with Deflect/CDR/BDR/?. I don't know all the combinations yet, so this is a WiP. Pelt has a great mix of stats and tested out better than my Deflect/CDR/BDR and CHR/CDR/BDR cosmics. Kraven was up there, too and Cap's slot 2 can be a placeholder until you've acquired one of the others.

Slot 3:

• Cap's slot 3 is excellent and almost covers all the bases. Skull coat can have an honorable mention.

Slot 4:

• Here's where we have an option. Skrull Uniform can peak better damage with all the brut love, but you will also take a hit to spirit sustain. Cap's slot 4 boots are more of a QoL win in this scenario. Batroc boots can have an honorable mention.

Slot 5:

• Same situatiuon as above. Minor damage increase (roll dependent) at the cost of spirit sustain. The new raid unique will undoubtedly take the crown here once you acquire one. I'll update once I can test it out.

Ring:

• A cosmic An Omega will likely win out here with some combination including deflect and offensive stats. Cosmic Str/BSR will be a little more swingy than the Xavier's. Sling has another defensive boost and the ICP ring deserves an honorable mention.

Artifacts:

• This build is pretty low on crit/brut rating so any of these can fill in. Flag being the honorable mention here. Heimdall Blessings!

Medallion:

• Shield medallion won out by a good margain here. The others tested out similar, with the skrull medallion of bravery helping spirit sustain.

Legendary:

• Shield is behind axe in damage. You're giving up too much on axe in a build that's starved for crit and brut rating.

-Gunny is the i70 option.

Uru: X

• Power Doop is far ahead of Bowazon (and much cheaper!). River of the soul is the cheapy alternative.

Infinity points:

1.) TIme Gem - Temporal Loophole 38 points

2.) Mind Gem - Mental Focus 150 points

3.) Power Gem - Strike Through 75 points

4.) Soul Gem - Fighting 6 points

Now that some +1 attribute bonuses are unlocked, feel free to dump points into:

• Mind over matter (6) in Mind Gem

• Superhuman (6) in Power Gem

• Dump the rest into Strength (in Power Gem) with straggler points into Potency (in Reality Gem)

Additional Notes:

• This build can be a big spirit drain. You'll likely be using medkit on cooldown. There are plenty of options to increase your spirit gain. The increased damage isn't dealing any damage if you don't have any spirit.

• Once again, we use Heimdall blessings! Hela will work, but they are even on damage in best case, but your damage will be subject to the brut lottery, where Heimdall will be a flat and consistent damage (and defensive) boost.

• The primary items I listed were the best case for damage and spirit sustain. Try out different gear combinations to see what works best for you. All of the slot 2-5 items listed were very close in damage.

• We're stacking Strength over Fighting (preferrably) because of the deflect rating boost from Strength. Crit is still important, but we get more out of increased deflect. The difference is very minor, but this build doesn't frown at Strength.

• Talents 5:1 and 5:2 seem similar, but they are different abilities. Patriotic taunt can be used on an 8 sec cooldown and with some power duration, it's active most of the time. Patriotic speech has a longer cooldown, and therefore a lower uptime, where power duration doesn't have the same impact.
