Build Overview & Design Philosophy

Unlike the common "glass cannon" templates, The Techno-Virus Terminator is an endgame Cable build engineered for high-velocity, methodical slaughter. It trades away hyper-reactive, stressful survival mechanics for an unbreakable defensive shell, absolute battlefield control, and heavy proc-reliant burst damage.

The core philosophy: You're an unstoppable, relentless, cybernetic, killing machine. By pairing an offense driven by an endless resource pool with a high, passive mitigation floor and strategic aggro manipulation, you're able to casually wade through a hail of cosmic gunfire and systematically eliminate any and all threats.

The Telepathic Shell Game: The absolute lynchpin of your survival loop is Cable's illusion decoy. In high-challenge boss fights/content, you maintain constant uptime on the decoy to redirect hard, single-target aggro and specific enemy powers/attacks. This leaves you free to tactically, re-position, avoiding targeted AoEs and other hazards that crowd cosmic content.

Techno-Organic Virus Discipline: This build weaponizes Cable's native, health regeneration threshold (35%) and the genetic mutation catalyst regen affix. By cultivating the discipline to trust in his passive recovery through the Techno-Organic Virus, he will continually patch up cumulative chip damage, allowing you to save your medkits exclusively for catastrophic, survival emergencies. Built-in Revive: The talent - Techno-Organic Interface ensures that even in the absolute worst-case scenario where a strike does break your guard, Cable simply takes a knee for a brief moment, collects his strength, and resumes the hunt.

The Mitigation Wall: Your defensive spreadsheet is heavily anchored by an exceptional baseline armor split. By combinging high deflection with moderate defense and a substantial health pool, Cable can passively mitigate the majority of incoming damage allowing his Techo-Organic Virus and catalyst mutation regen's to sustain him through entire cosmic terminal clears.

Gear Blueprint & Attribute Anchors
The item layout selectively exchanges native uniques for high-end global powerhouses to augment your critical, brutal, and deflect stacks. You're able to improve both his offense and his passive mitigation through these choice uniques.

Power and Talent Selection: This is a high-octane, run-and-gun combat cycle that seamlessly loops low-cooldown tactical ordnance around relentless Pulse Rifle fire.

  • The Opener: Lead the engagement with Telekinetic Overload. A cooldown-based, area nuke that will instantly proc the +dmg rate of your Power Doop runeword.
  • Next - Vortex Grenades: Toss a couple of these out for continual damage and efficient pack clustering while also slowing the effected targets attack and move speed as you trigger your second Power Doop proc - +critical dmg rate.
  • The Follow up -  Hyper-Viper Beam: With your targets grouped up by your grenades you can now nuke them all with the hyper-viper beam while also weakening them to further damage. (you can also apply Eye For weakness first to open them to further damage)
  • The Relentless Spender: Fire your Pulse Rifle as the primary filler and pack sweeper. Under standard conditions, shots track reliably for solid numbers. However, when your Siege's Targeting System or M'Kraan Crystal procs align, your active profile throttles past 5,700+ Damage Rating, escalating your Pulse Rifle brutal strikes to 70k+ or even up to a glorious 82k outlier ceiling!
  • The Combo: For elite packs and bosses, casting Eye for Weakness then Telekinetic Overload right before Foresight bomb, will buff your signature damage by 25% as well as open your target(s) to 35% additional damage, setting up your signature power for the maximum alpha strike acheivable.

Talents: The top tier isnt even really a choice, with the middle talent providing +10% dmg to your arsenal powers while the other two are irrelevant to the kit. Tier 4's Weapons Expert looks ideal as it offers arsenal synergy with our first talent choice, but Psionics Expert provides an augment to Telekinetic Overload which we're actually using. I believe the others seem clear enough choices.

Infinity Point Progression Blueprint
With a limited 530 Infinity Point template, every allocation is mathematically optimized to push offensive multipliers without stalling utility frames.
  • Spatial Substitution: A foundational pillar of the builds survival. You cannot deflect a third (35.2% actual in game/combat deflect rate) of incoming attacks with out it. A critical node.
  • Gravity well: Another foundational node. You need the health pool to stay vertical while the increased cap regulates the 35% threshold that triggers your Techno-Organic Virus's X3 regen.
  • Strike Through Node (Max Active Allocation): All remaining points are dumped directly into this brutal damage amplifier, locking in a colossal +75% Brutal Damage Rating overhead. This ensures that whenever your artifact procs align, your orange combat spikes hit with maximum devastating weight.
  • Temporal Loophole (10/100 Ranks): Ten ranks here offsets the loss of attack spped when you swap your native unique weapon (Hyper Viper Beam) to with your crafted Fragment of Twilight. This investment perfectly smooths out your Pulse Rifle filler to maximize your rolling on-hit proc frequency with a rapid 6.0 shots per sec. Non issue until you swap out the Viper Beam.
  • Future Macro Path: Once the Brutal Damage node is completely maxed out, the progression path transitions directly into the main Energy and Fighting attribute tracks to layer a permanent, unconditional +4% base damage multiplier per point across your entire cybernetic arsenal. (With special consideration for signature damage via Reality Gem - Potency.)

With the addition of further Infinity node investment, the ceiling for this build is very high. Significant survivability with considerable punch through it's endless power use and brutal strike scaling with a comfortable power cycle and low stress, methodical, run n' gun playstyle. I hope someone finds this build helpful and or enjoyable.
