I've seen some people get turned off of playing Ghost Rider, one of the best and most underappreciated heroes in the game, because of fear over the decreased HP pool from playing with   and . This build is a slight modification of the weaving build that you see at the top of the list on this website, geared to alleviate those worries and ease you into the Spirit of Vengeance's strongest setup in Marvel Heroes Omega. I'll give you a quick primer on the main, worthwhile choices you have available when it comes to building for survivability/TTL:

The holy grail, even above the almighty shield on medkit in some respects. Ignore itembase's incorrect tooltip: you are 100% invulnerable for the duration of the low health proc (which scales up with power duration!). If you are having serious trouble with surviving in cosmic tier content in MH, look no further. It's a bit of a catch 22 considering this thing ONLY drops from Trainyard Danger Room scenarios: No other boss/terminal/vendor in the game is gonna give you this, sorry (unless you get REALLY lucky with a  I guess). And the "test of precision" affix can make efficiently farming the scenario a no-go for a big chunk of the roster. But it's well worth it to unlock and gear up one of Rogue, Blade, or Jugg to go grab one or more of these. It's damage is not BiS but also not awful by any means, especially on high power duration/low sig CD heroes who can get good uptime on the +1 all proc. Like Ghost Rider for example! ;)

Your shield on medkit catalyst, the #2 and most universal/widely recommended defensive tool. A handy trick on Ghost Rider specifically is to pop it right before using   . The shield will scale off your natural max HP right before  cuts it in half, giving you ample protection when combined with Infernal Contract's 30% DR buff. You won't always have the luxury of setting this up at your discretion, depending on enemy behavior and what not. But it's still useful mechanical "tech" worth knowing when it comes to playing a hero that cuts their entire max HP pool in half as part of their gameplay loop.

Your last meaningful source of survivability in character building is the "Gravity Well" node under the Space Gem in the Infinity System. More health scales your medkit healing, scales the strength of the shield from your catalyst, and is far and away the most impactful TTL stat compared to defense, dodge, and deflect. It's doubly important on Ghost Rider because he not only cuts his max HP in half regularly due to the "Infernal Contract" trait, but also consumes it as a resource when using  thanks to the "Eternal Damnation" trait. Which you will naturally be spamming/weaving constantly in a Damnation build of all things. Building a healthy max HP pool is of the utmost importance if you're struggling to survive with this character while picking these traits, and the Gravity Well node is one of the first places you should look to pick up more health. Especially if you don't have a spare  lying around (both of GR's slot 1 personal uniques lack a health roll), or the  stockpile necessary to roll a 2K HP cosmic affix on one of your artifacts for example. 150 IP for 73% more base health, the Space Gem Infusion, and +1 to all stats, is a worthwhile investment for any (non-Durability scaling) character you feel is "squishy" in cosmic content. When you get to the big boy levels of 1k+ IP, a few more flat damage % from stacking main stats, on top of the thousands you'll inevitably already have, won't be very noticable unless you're timing yourself hitting the raid dummy. 73% more base HP on the other hand, will almost ALWAYS make a noticable difference in moment to moment gameplay.

As you gain more familiarity and experience piloting Ghost Rider and playing around  you can gradually ease out some of the TTL choices for TTK ones. Dropping  for something like  or a GOK, a godroll cosmic ring over the sling ring (this one's arguably not even worth it considering Damnation has bonus ATK speed scaling), the obligatory  over , etc. The omega sweaty "optimal" Damnation build potentially drops even the shield on medkit for a 1K damage on sig catalyst, all to snapshot the juiciest possible buff from Infernal Contract onto both DOTs. But those kind of min max optimizations might be a bit above this build for dummies paygrade ;)
