What this build is for: Inspired by xDooZeL's old "One-Hit Kill" showcase, this build has one primary purpose: To bring that OHKO firepower back to TAHITI and optimize it for cosmic terminal farming in the modern day. To be clear: This is NOT the "highest DPS" Blade build possible, the "highest raid dummy TTK" build, or anything of the sort. I mean how could it be... we're not building into bloodlust at all! It's right there in the name silly ;) But while we may not be utilizing bloodlust, we aren't completely eliminating our thirst mechanic with the "In Control" talent either. Instead we will be taking the "Steady Regimented" middle ground/talent, giving our   a sizable increase in performance without any of the time consuming, risky ramp-up involved with trying to stack bloodlust. Don't be misled by itembase's incorrect tooltips, Steady Regiment doubles both the duration AND potency of  to 30% damage and attack/move speed. While that doesn't compare to the 50% damage and 100% critical/brutal damage of 10 bloodlust stacks... Blade's signature  is so overtuned at baseline that with the right gearing and enough IP investment (and maybe a   or twenty to be safe...) you will still be more than able to put down any cosmic terminal boss standing in your way with one, guaranteed brutal shot.

The gameplay here is simple: Load into a cosmic terminal, hop on your bike and beeline straight to the boss, use  and immediately  , then watch the loot fireworks and do it all over again. That's literally all there is to it! You have massive 80% damage reduction while the signature is firing, but if you want to be extra safe you can hunt for a  with invisibility on medkit to give yourself the safest possible setup. Terminals like Church of Purification and Abandoned Subway, with single bosses at the end and no preliminary objectives/minibosses gating the way to them, are this build's bread and butter.   is on the skill bar and Vicious Wounds is talented for situations where mobbing is necessary, so you are free to whirlwind through the crowds on your way to boss if you so choose. It is however generally quicker and more efficient for farming purposes to ignore the cosmic chest bounties entirely and just focus on racking up boss headcounts repeatedly, especially if you are using   and getting Odin marks on each kill. In terminals like Kurse going for the bounty makes obvious sense, but wasting too much time seeking out and whiplashing multiple packs of trash each and every terminal run is counterintuitive and kind of a waste on a build that is unable to stack bloodlust in the process. For terminals like Bugle and Ultron where you will have to enter combat multiple times for multiple bosses, we have the skills , and  slotted to cycle through and reduce the cooldown on  by way of the Patient Hunter talent. Party Crasher can be replaced with  or , I just prefer it for mobility purposes. Again though I want to point out... the main goal of this build is next to no-setup kills for quick, efficient farming. If you're wasting time cycling multiple cooldowns while starving to try and refresh your signature over and over running through Bugle and Dimensions Collide, or trying this build in cosmic patrols/raids... it largely defeats the purpose of forgoing bloodlust in the first place. A different, less "bursty" build or character entirely will probably be better suited for those purposes. Just something to keep in mind.

Now a few notes about the gear:

No, this isn't a mistake or a meme. What it IS is probably the most underrated and/or slept on unique in the entire game. Do you see those outrageous critical and brutal damage rolls?? They are in fact HIGHER than those found on the "best item in the game", good ol'  for anyone keeping count!! Yes, Fragment has considerably higher base damage and sizable TTL utility compared to... nothing of the sort on the ammo. But what these pointy bullets lack in survivability, they more than make up for with an unconditional vulnerable on hit property, the very same as the oft recommended  in slot 5. For our auto-brut, terminal boss one-shotting purposes... it is actually optimal to drop Fragment in slot 1 in exchange for being able to drop a vulnerability power from our skill "rotation" (if you can even call it that at this point LOL), bringing it down to nothing but popping  followed by popping the boss. As mentioned earlier, I personally slot  mainly for mobility and quick repositioning when necessary;  is what enables the truly "one-hit" nature of this build.

Yes, they're BiS for Blade.... they're ONLY BiS on Blade as a matter of fact. This is a meme/trap item on literally every other hero in the game, including Mr. Fantastic positron emitter builds. But for a canonically shades-wearing Dhampir, who scales off Fighting, and has a massive auto brutal signature, they're an exclusive match made in heaven. Steer clear of  and  , these are NOT "BiS" by any estimation and should be actively avoided on Blade.

On paper this is a very good artifact on Blade, potentially better than something like , but most of its strength is tied to the bleeding target conditional. On builds that engage in combat for more than a single signature cast it'd be easy to recommend... but for this build's best use cases? It's not worth taking the time to apply a bleed to enable it, making it a waste in my opinion. If you're missing one of the other recommended artifacts but happen to have one of these, you can still use it but will have adjust (i.e. actually pay attention to) your skill rotation accordingly. Like  to the boss and then fire off a quick   to layer the bleeding status onto them before using  for example.
