WHAT ARE THESE BUDGET BUILDS?

Maybe you just got a new hero to 60.

Maybe this is your 54th alt character.

Maybe you are not sure you want to use your rarest and most powerful items on this parcicular hero.

These builds give you a solid middle-ground setup for a hero, that is strong enough to clear cosmic content, without a huge investment. This game has 60+ Heroes after all, and not all of yours can have a Fragment of Twilight and a full set of cosmic-blessed top-of-the-line artifacts.

Gear in these BUDGET builds is not "starter garbage" but are also not hard to get.

- Mostly non-cosmic, non-blessed artifacts.

- Mostly the hero's own uniques or common Any Hero uniques.

- Legendary ilvl 70, not 80

- Easy-to-get rings and medals, avoiding rare or event-specific ones such as Sling-Ring or Shield/Hydra medals.

ROTATION

The rotation for this build is button-intensive but despite that, actually very simple.

Hold  to lock onto your target, press all your 5 openers      whenever they're off cooldown, and use the signature  for big damage and to reset all your stances. Try to use the signature after you've put all stances on cooldown so you don't waste the cooldown reset.

Every attack is single-target, but each of the 5 stance openers will proc a Chi Burst for good AOE damage. Just focus on your main target and let the procs do their thing.

TALENTS

Row1: Big damage boost to our 5 main attacks.

Row2: Damage boost to our filler attack (the other options are for Stance Combos which we don't use.)

Row3: Cooldown reduction for all our attacks. Big boost to our signature.

Row4: This is how we get AOE into the build.

Row5: Big buff that triggers automatically with the Signature.

GEAR

Artifacts: A good mix of damage and survivability. If you can't find those, there are other good options like Taskmaster's Fighting for Losers Guide , Spider-Clone Serum , Webbed Wings , Gem of the Kursed. Even an Advanced Super-Soldier Serum is good if you're feeling squishy.

is the only Cosmic artifact listed in the build because it is so easy to get a has great "bang for buck" on a budget build: +6 to your main attributes (the icon on this website says +2 to All for some reason, but it can actually roll +3 to All), a cheat death proc, and a cosmic affix. You can farm this on any Cosmic zone, and the only variable affix is either +2 or +3 to Attributes so very easy to reroll on the crafter. For the affix go for either Signature Cooldown Reduction or Dodge/Health if you need more survivability.

Medal: Magneto's is the best. It will greatly reduce our Signatue cooldown which is crucial to this build. Very easy to farm too.

Uniques: Muramasa is slightly better for damage than his own slot 1 Mighty Asgardian Mace but his own has some health and health on hit so it's also a good option. The rest are his own uniques. You can easily farm ilvl 66 uniques on Midtown Monday boxes farmable in any difficulty.

Legendary: Gungnir is just the best ilvl 70 for almost all heroes.

Ring, Catalyst, Insignia: These are good slots to get some defence. Rand already has very strong damage with this build, but since we're face-tanking everything with very little mobility, he can feel rather squishy if you don't invest in some protection.

Runeword: River of the Soul helps with signature cooldown reduction. Very cheap to make. If you can afford go for Power Doop (we already have physical and mental damage - just get the Energy proc node in the Reality gem).

INFINITY & HERO SYNERGY

Those will heavility depend on how many Inifinity Points and what Heroes you have. Aim for synergies that give you your attributes, crit and brut chance/damage. Loki has -5% cost/cooldown redution for Rand (if you're not singature capped), and Hulk (6& health) and Doom (10% signature damage) are great for almost any hero. For Infinity nodes aim for 150 points on each gem to get the gem's extra bonuses, then move on to the next. Mind Gem is a good starting option for the 10% cost/cooldown reduction.
