This build was something that I played back during the live roll out. It's very soothing, simple, relaxing and easy to follow. It retains Nova's powerful build out, but it is not meant to be or even intended to be suggested as the most optimal/powerful mega super TTK Boss Dummy build in the game.

Nova Beam Resonance - This just turns Nova Beam into another cooldown power to be used in the overall scheme.
Pulsar Cascade - When they detonate, and they will be detonating a lot, you get more power. You also restore the little nova force you're spending. Easy, peasy.
Pulsar Field - More pulsars. More Pulsars!
Pulsar Proximity Control - Detonating them instantly instead of having to track and pop them yourself is essential this to all work. You're going to need to keep track of one thing: The Boss and the loot he'll be dropping as he or she merrily dies in your pulsar field.
Gravemetric Acceleration - As your cooldown powers are used, your signature cooldown is lowered. With very little work, I have nearly 100% uptime of my signature currently. Sometimes I have to dash or throw in a Nova Beam to get it there, but I'm almost always there and ready for pew pews.

- - Start with Nova Flare for Vulnerability.
- - Lock on and start firing with Cascading Bolt.
- - Lay Unstable Pulsar down.
- - Lay Magneton Pulsar down.
- - Lay Supermassive Pulsar down.
- - Key your signature.
From this point your entire life down to two things: (1) Spam click your Magneton and Supermassive Pulsars. (2) Don't die, so use your dash and move around, it's a cooldown power so it also lowers your signature.

Infinity is different for everyone on every character. While there is certainly nodes that are the most bang for your buck, so to speak, Infinity Points is where you can make up for whatever deficits you're facing that gear wasn't easily able to cover. So always keep in mind when you look at these builds, Infinity Points should be nothing more than a very polite suggestion. No matter how well they try to explain their math. Their math still may not necessarily be your math, they may have better drops or more infinity points, more time to hunt drops or just better RNG for better drops or rolls on their drops. Anyone who says their math is the only math, is probably not someone you want to listen to.
My first priority is to put 150 into each of the Infinity Gems, to earn the various bonus effects that come with that. I also always put a single tick into the Infusion power that causes a dot (sometimes more, but never less) it's free damage.
Temporal Loop is very good with Time Gem. 37 clicks here with 1 click in Infusion will get you where you want to be.
Mental Focus is my next stop in Mind Gem. Critical Damage is nom nom always. 150 clicks here. Then 1 click in Infusion.
Strike Through in the Power Gem is nice. Brutal Damage by itself is not the way to go normally, but the price per click is optimal. 75 clicks and then 1 click in Infusion send me on my way.
Potency in Reality Gem is where I start. I normally put rough 150 clicks into it, then 1 click into Infusion. However, on Nova, I circle back to Reality Gem for "Energy" and dump points here once I have covered all my other bases.
Inner Resilience in the Soul Gem is worth roughly 25 clicks, with 1 click in Infusion.
Gravity Well in the Space Gem is my final true stop, it gets 75 clicks and then 1 click into Infusion. A small buff to the health feels like the best investment in this gem, although it feels hard to waste these points early on it's valuable +1 attributes, additional damage resistance.
It's at this point that I plug any holes I'm feeling. For example at one point I was going back to Inner Resilience and filling that node as I felt like I needed it to live long enough to be effective DPS.
NOTE(S):
- A couple folks have asked me about Synergies, but I do not have a lot of characters unlocked at this time. So I'm rolling with the ones I have. Roll with the ones most appropriate to Nova or the best you have unlocked. Right now mine are not optimal and I don't want to seem dishonest about it. LOL
- I'm going to post gearing soon, however I need to compile a list of artifact alternatives. So that's coming soon.
