Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Hawkeye. Note: This is NOT the best Hawkeye. It is NOT end game Hawkeye. You will not find the BiS items in this build. 

Set Up

I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.

Not all end game builds work equally well with less IP and gear. I tried a couple of the builds that already existed and found one that worked well to get through the Cosmic Trial. 

When Luke said melee Hawkeye was a thing, I assumed he was trolling. Or that like all builds in this game, it CAN be a thing with enough IP. But no, actually melee Hawkeye stomps the CT.

Synergies

Kinda typical for a melee build. + to Stats (Int and Fight) SG, Wolverine, Elektra, and also some health w/ Hulk. 

Infinities

I went with the Time Gem - Temporal Loop Hole for the Attack and Move Speed. Putting 150 points in one node also gives + to all stats.

Gear

 - Hawkeye has plenty of damage but playing him melee makes him a little more susceptible to death. So I went with the tankier option.

For artifacts I took   - are kind of my go to for staying alive. 

I took  as a basic damage artifact that's really easy to get. Final spot I put a .

His own uniques get the job done for slot 1-5.  are especially nice  because we get bonus damage for being in melee range. 

For the medkit you want the shield on med kit use. Other than that prioritize your stats (INT, Fighting), health, and health on hit.

Team Up

Playstyle

 The playstyle basicall boils down to use every CD when it comes up.

- Bound to left click hold it down, and use that bow like a hammer.

- Increase melee damage for 6s. On a 4s cool down. That buff should always be up.

-Fires a bunch of Trick Arrows. Use on CD.

- Dodge, get out of stuff. Also applies a DoT. Duration is 6s, CD is 4s. Can keep this up at all times too.

- One of my favorite signature abilities. Like everything else, use it on CD. 

- Provides some DR while using it, we're going to (say it with me) use it on CD.

- Provides a damage bonus for the 3s duration. 

- We're going to use this on CD. Make sure to hold it until its fully charged (won't take long at all thanks to a talent).
