Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Daredevil. Note: This is NOT the best Daredevil. It is NOT end game Daredevil. You will not find the BiS items in this build.

Set Up

I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.

Not all end game builds work equally well with less IP and gear. I tried a couple of the builds that already existed and found one that worked well to get through the Cosmic Trial.

Synergies

Kind of the typical melee damage synergies. I threw Hulk in for a little more health. DD has great damage but can die if you get sloppy in melee.

Infinities

I went with the Time Gem - Temporal Loop Hole for the Attack and Move Speed. I take this most of the time, but it Attack Speed is actually important for DD as we want to build our combo points up as quick as we can.

Gear

 - I went for the sheild to increase my survivability.

For artifacts I took   - are kind of my go to for staying alive.

I took  as a basic damage artifact that's really easy to get.  has stats we like and it just fits thematically.

His own uniques work great for slot 1-5.

For the medkit you want the shield on med kit use. Other than that prioritize your stats (Fighting, Speed), health, and health on hit.

Team Up

Jessica Jones is kind of becoming my default here. The grouping is just too good.

Playstyle

Daredevil plays pretty straightforward, but his gameplay loop is also one I feel real satisfying. We're going to build combo points then spend them one of two finishers, depending on whether we want group damage or solo, and then we'll follow that up with a . You cycle through this Combo Point building and Spending very quickly.

- Bound to left click. Hold it down. Main way of building Combo Points.

- When you fill your Combo Points you will spend it on one of two finishers. If you are doing single target you choose this one.

- Weakens enemies, pulls enemies in (sometimes). Most importantly it generates 2 Combo Points on use.

- Tumble, get out of stuff. DD is very mobile and can get back on an enemy real quick. Don't stand in bad.

- Signature. Fills Combo Points to full. Ideally you want to use a full CP finisher, then signature to refill your CP, Tornado Kick, and then use a finisher again.

- Finisher move. Good to use in situations where you want to hit more than one enemy, up to 8 in fact.

- Can only be used within 3 seconds of using a 5 CP finisher. Gets double damage if you have full CP when you use it. Ideally you build 5 CP. Use a finisher. Build 5 CP again before using this. Enemies move, you get knocked back. Sometimes you get stunned briefly and have to roll. All these things will make it difficult to get the bonus damage in. A kick at normal damage is better than getting no kick because it took longer than 3 seconds to get 5 CP again. As you play with it you'll get a feel for when you can go for the bonus damage and when you just need to take the kick you can get.

- It is a DoT. It is not tagged as a bleed but other DD guides were saying it counts as one - which is why I have X-23 in the synergies.

Hopefully this helps you clear the Cosmic Trial so that you can start farming your best gear and move on to bigger and better content and bigger and better guides! Have fun out there.

Thanks!
