Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Blade. Note: This is NOT the best Blade. It is NOT end game Blade. You will not find the BiS items in this build. 

Set Up

I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.

Not all end game builds work equally well with less IP and gear. I tried a couple of the builds that already existed and found one that worked well to get through the Cosmic Trial. 

Remember in the intro when I said this is NOT the best Blade. Yeah, that is definitely true. In Row 1 of talents you can take the far left talent for way more damage. Your thirst builds up and you stack your bloodlust before using your serum for a big damage burst -OR- hear me out. You could take the far right one and not worry about serum at all (just use it for a damage buff) and get some survivability. I value ease of play when making these guides so I went with the easier route. If you really like Blade and take him further then you'll probably want to manage his serum and thirst more to maximize your damage.

Synergies

Ant-Man, Black Panther, Cable, Elektra, Moon Knight, Nightcrawler, War Machine, Wolverine, X-23, and Squirrel Girl.

Infinities

I went with the Time Gem - Temporal Loop Hole for the Attack and Move Speed. 

Gear

 - Pretty standard damage option here.

  - has some damage stats and adds some beefiness.  - also increases survivability.

Obviously if you have a  use that instead of  but I know that latter is a lot easier to find that's why I put it on my builds.

- solid damage option. Fairly farmable. He's in Midtown, ICP and Hightown.

I just used Blade's uniques in slot 1-5. There's better options as you'll see in some endgame guides but these will be plenty to get you through the trial.

Our medkit is pretty important as well. Get a catalyst that gives you back spirit on medkit use to get some spirit back every time you use it and shield on use.

Playstyle

 

I tried to make this as straight forward as possible. Blade has really high damage baked into his signature. We're going to use a rotation of CDs while we wait for that next big burst from our signature.

 jump in with this and apply vulnerable >  applies vulnerable for your Grievous Wounds effects. >  applies GW in an area around you. >  x 2 our highest damage non signature ability. This is our basic Cool Down rotation.

 - bind to left click. Hold it down to constantly dish out damage in between CDs.

 - evade and break CC.

 - The reason people play Blade I feel. Its a very strong signature with high damage potential. Use it whenever its up.

 - We're not managing thirst with this build. Just use it for the 3s buff. Pop right before your signature or .
