Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Black Panther. Note: This is NOT the best Black Panther. It is NOT end game Black Panther. You will not find the BiS items in this build.

Set Up

I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.

Not all end game builds work equally well with less IP and gear. I tried a couple of the builds that already existed and found one that worked well to get through the Cosmic Trial.

Alright so the oddities first. Yes I have a + Energy artifact on. No Black Panther does not use Energy. But it helps us spam our spender. Black Panther does not have a generator skill. He has skills that don't spend but I want to spend! Row 4 of talents has no talent. The only talents there that would help us is the jungle snare one but that bonus is not worth the negative of losing the DoT on our upper cut.

Synergies

Beast, Cable, Elektra, Hulk, Moon Knight, Nightcrawler, She Hulk, Wolverine, X-23, and Squirrel Girl.

Infinities

I went with the Time Gem - Temporal Loop Hole for the Attack and Move Speed. If you are having issues with having enough spirit you could also choose Deep Thought - Mind Gem.

Gear

 - Gives maximum spirit and health and that 5% chance to restore spirit will help us keep on swinging away. We attack alot so it's likely you'll see this proc a handful of times.

 - so here's the weirdness I mentioned above.[  would probably be better (you can get it from doing danger room - I don't do that much. Usually leveling heroes to take through the trial.) I didn't even think of  at the time. All three of these options have stats that don't do much for BP but I think some form of spirit regen will make things smoother.] Again remember this isn't end game or BiS. This is to get you through the Cosmic Trial with 150 IP. This helped me slow down my spirit drain so I could keep spamming my attacks.  - has some damage stats and adds some beefiness.  - is a favorite of mine on int based characters. Any high damage artifact you have can replace this though.

Obviously if you have a  use that instead of  but I know that latter is a lot easier to find that's why I put it on my builds.

I used all of BPs uniques for slot 1-5. They all have some kind of stacking buff or a chance to get a buff or do damage when you're doing what you'd normally do. Your slot 4  have spirit per hit on them. We love that.

Our medkit is pretty important as well. Get a catalyst that gives you back spirit on medkit use to get some spirit back every time you use it.

Team Up

I went with Agent Coulson but I think Jessica Jones could have helped with the minion phase for grouping them up.

Playstyle

There are much more complex builds already created and they are undoubtedly better for end game. I chose to go with something that was kind of brainless to use but still has plenty of power to get through the CT.

 - This is bound to my left click. It costs zero spirit but it doesn't regen spirit either. You can throw it into your rotation to apply its bleed if you want. If you spam yourself out of energy you can use this instead of the  while you regen. I found the add phase annoying on the CT so I took this off and tried . It's area isn't much better and it really drained my spirit. If you're finding the adds go down too slow this could be a power to take off to try to find an area power to slot in. Keep in mind you'll have to be careful with your spirit though.

- It's there for the vulnerability mostly. If you don't see a blue circle under your enemy, drop a new one.

- Our biggest single damage number. Make sure you've got your mouse over the enemy, this can miss. Use on CD.

-    the extra affix on this item gives us +3 fighting. We have to stack up hitting with 3 movement powers. This and our jump are the two we have. So throw this in before you jump. I found it makes it easier to hit with the  as well.

- Signature. Summons some Dora, thanks to our last row talent. One of the coolest looking abilities in the game. Use on CD.

- This has no CD. We dont really use it for it's straight up damage. We want the bleed up at all times for our . To time this I just used it right after every .

- This will put us in stealth but it also buffs us. Use on CD- preferably when you'll be dropping your .

- We are holding this down the entire time. It will hit really fast (assuming your target is bleeding). It will slowly drain our spirit. That's why I took some of the items I did to mitigate that. If you run out of spirit switch to holding down the  while you charge back up.

Clearing the minions was the only sketchy part of this run. When you get the bosses alone you shred them. When Red Skull popped I used my ult right away to clear the minions still up with it while dealing some damage to him. Don't just use your health kit when you're low on health. Spam it for the spirit regen from your catalyst.

Hopefully this helps you clear the Cosmic Trial so that you can start farming your best gear and move on to bigger and better content and bigger and better guides! Have fun out there.

Thanks!
