Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Nick Fury. Note: This is NOT the best Nick Fury. It is NOT end game Nick Fury. You will not find the BiS items in this build. This build is the exact same as Lozareth's build here:

https://itembase.mhbugle.com/build/5318/

I just made some slight adjustments focused around passing the trial with only 150 IP and not having access to the best gear. If you want to continue with Fury I'd recommend using that build.

We were so busy trying to figure out if we could do it, we never bothered to think about whether we should do it.

Set Up

I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.

Not all end game builds work equally well with less IP and gear. I tried a couple of the builds that already existed and found one that worked well to get through the Cosmic Trial.

Nick Fury has a weird mechanic with Ammo + A reload. Most of his skills don't refresh their CD on their own. You have to use your  to reset them. On the upside this mechanic allows you to be very bursty - on the downside it can be a little unwieldy.

Synergies

I went with some beef on my synergies adding Hulk for some more HP along with the typical + to stats and phys damage, crit, brut etc.

Infinities

I didn't want to be in a situation where I was out of ammo without my  ready to go. So I put my 150 IP into The Mind Gem - (Deep Thought) for +375 ammo.

Gear

I went with a  for my legendary. Survivability was a big issue. If you find you keep dying try using a .

My first attempt I had typical high damage artifacts in all 4 slots. After dying twice I decided to add some more durability. That's where the  and  come in. Damage ended up being fine with these two options selected and I felt alot beefier. Not beefy but beefier.

Slot 3-5 are his Uniques. 1 and 2 I went with  and . Both provide great stats for him and +health.

Team Up

Ideally a tanky team up like Jessica Jones or a supporty one like Clea or Rescue could have been more helpful, but I felt it was only right to use Coulson.

Playstyle

Roll alot. Stay on the move. Standing still will absolutely get you killed.

- Our filler, what we spend our ammo on. Has decent damage.

-Refills our ammo and resets our two grenades and .

-High Damage, Execute. Originally I avoided using this because it teleports you to your enemy. After

-Roll + Stealth. I used this more on Fury than any other hero I've played so far. Every hit just hurts so much.

-Signature - gives damage bonus, also buffs your passive summons.

- 5s buff for you and your party members.

- Thanks to a talent in row 3 guaranteed Brutal Strikes in the center. Its fairly forgiving. Pop 2 of these and reload and pop two more for great burst.

- Applies vulnerable. You got 3 charges per reload.

Fury's summons are passive, they join the fight "while you're in combat." Before they show up things can be a little sketchy with everything bearing down on Fury. His damage is really bursty, and wasn't really a concern as far as clearing the trial goes. Just surviving was. Pop his ult after the first shield minion goes down on Skull for maximum benefit from it.

Hopefully this helps you clear the Cosmic Trial so that you can start farming your best gear and move on to bigger and better content and bigger and better guides! Have fun out there.

Thanks!

 Lil
