Hello! This is a guide to get you through the Cosmic Trial with Vision. Note: This is NOT the best Vision. It is NOT end game Vision. Obioyo has a build here: https://itembase.mhbugle.com/build/4863/ That is similar with some end game items on it that you can shoot for after you get through the Cosmic Trial.

Set Up

I capped myself at 150 Infinity Points for these trial guides. It won't take too long to build up that many. By the time you've leveled up a few characters for synergies and farmed some Heroic (Red) Challenges and terminals for some gear you may even be past 150 IP when you try the trial. Worst thing that can happen when you try the trial is you fail there is no punishment. So give it a shot and see if you're missing damage, survivability or both.

Synergies

Speaking of synergies, I just used what I had available. I don't have all the heroes at 60 yet, (i know what am I even doing with my life?) As I was going through the list I saw some that could be very useful for Vision. If you were going to main him I think heroes with % energy damage or +to energy like Storm would be good choices. If you look at the ones I used there's some crit damage and damage to bosses but not all of it is ideal for Vision. Use the synergies you have that fit the best or intentionally level the ones you want.

Infinities

Alot of times my first go to with Infinities is the attack and movement speed node (Remilla does a great job explaining attack speed and the infinity system @RemiFromMH on YT) in the Time Stone - (Temporal Loophole). For Vision his first row of talents has Rapid Absorption - which gives you spirit regen. 4% of your maximum per second. So I put my 150 points into The Mind Gem - Deep Thought - which gave me 375 bonus spirit. Between this IP, my talents and gear I was about 1700 - 1800 Spirit. We'll round it down to 1700. 4% of 1700 is 68 spirit per second. This regen plus the spirit to hit on gear that I had I was able to use  almost indefinitely. (More on that later).

Gear

First off let's talk legendary. I think the  I put in the build would be a good choice for him. I will also always advocate for the . It's a good option to have if you're feeling squishy. I actually had neither when I cleared the trial on him. If he's your main you should definitely have a legendary, I just wanted to try it before I put one on him and it wasn't needed.

His personal Uniques are fine. I used all 5. I can definitely see that there's better options for many of the slots, his 2, 4 and 5 especially. The feel the worst in this build because we're not punching things. All of the artifacts I put on him are target farmable.

The insignia - I found a Wasp insignia so it's what I used. It's not make or break.

 - can be annoying to farm. I've found a couple without looking for them. I like the damage stats and the energy. Not super great or needed for him.

- The most annoying part of farming this is going to be finding one specifically with energy. Not a super difficult farm at all though. You see him a ton in Midtown.

- I'll be perfectly honest with you, this was just sitting in my bank. I think I got it out of an SSB (Shield Supply Box). It's not necessary at all. Anything with +Energy or Energy Damage can fill this slot.

 - Farm it off of Pyro. You can encounter him in Midtown but also in the Stryker Command Bunker Terminal. Of these 4 artifacts I'd say this one is the most important, followed by Crossbones. Luckily they're the two easiest to target farm in my opinion.

The  is for more spirit (crit one is probably "better" but again this is just to get into cosmic not a BIS build). And I almost always default to the  for survivability.

Team Up

I would either use Coulson or Jessica Jones. I used Coulson but while doing it I was thinking that JJ could make it alot easier grouping enemies for me, which is why I put her on the build.

Playstyle

 - it's nice to have a melee bot to help keep enemies off you. I went for an Ultron Bot because it seemed to fit thematically. The dual wielding one is super aggro and I liked his style. Sentinel seemed too slow it was not anywhere near as cool as I'd hoped. I strongly recommend the dual wielding Ultron Bot. Tame one, get the talent that makes him always overclocked and forget about him tbh. When I hit 60 I noticed my bot still had lvl 47 above his head. Not sure if that's a visual or if it matters. So I went to the Ultron Terminal to tame another one. He was 57 and worked fine for the trial.

Seriously -  is like Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Put that sh*t on everything. Keep the area under the boss blanketed. It keeps them vulnerable, it applies a DoT and it puts them on fire for your . Then you hold down your  until your signature is ready. That's mostly the gameplay. Between our talents/infinites and items plus the spirit regen from our sig we don't need a generator. Your dash  restores energy per second for 8 seconds. Dash periodically to keep that energy regen stacked with your other sources. Also if you can find a catalyst with +100 spirit on medkit use it can help alot.

If I'm fighting a boss and my signature is close to being up I will dump my energy using . Make sure fire is under them for that vulnerability, then hit with your channeled solar beam to add that vulnerability and use your tri beam until your spirit is depleted/your sig is ready to go.Then go back to the usual rotation of keeping fire under them and pinging with your solar beam.

- is on your bar in case something gets spicy and you want to buy your self a little space. You can also pop it aggressively for a damage bonus.

 - is there as a back up heal. It allows you to use your medkit on cd for spirit and then you have this in case its on cd and you get chunked. (It can also heal your bot but I never saw him in danger).

I can not stress this enough how much you need to play Vision as a carpet installer.  is your carpet and every bit of landscape in the Marvel Heroes world would look better with new carpets. Then eyebeam things. Have a blast, clear your cosmic trial. Start farming artifacts and end game gear and move on to a bigger/better build!

Thanks!

Lil
