I genuinely don't know! Overall your pet does such little damage that itll be hard to notice without just AB testing.
Based on usual game logic, we can probably assume that lower level = less damage from the pet... which means I'd probably look into upgrading
The Commanding Aura is for you, the aggressive tag is for the pet. So assuming the pet is hitting for less, any max level pet with Commanding will probably outdamage your lowbie pet with Aggressive. Finding one of those by cycling terminals should only take you a few minutes.
