Hey! What about RED SHIFT node on The Space Gem, Why not to spend points in area damage? Maybe you need to spend the points you already have, not 2500 or 3000, that's not realistic (not for now)
Like all guide, it's more of a guideline than what you absolutely must do. From low to high infinity, you'll find that Red Shift > Durability until a threshold, afterward, it's better to go for Durability. The guide is more like after you have everything. But you don't have to follow it to every details if you have low points. It's abt going for what's best for YOU in YOUR current situation, which can varies for every single one of us. So basically, figure out what's best for you, or give more details when asking
Yea, but what happen if he upload a video with ttk or something, we need to know how much infinity points he had, spend 3000 points is not realistic right now. For example, i have 1158 points and i made a guide spending 1200 points cz im closer.
To be fair, pretty sure 3k isn't the cap either, since people in TC said they stopped trying to figure out what the cap is after 5k... So theoretically speaking, we can go for everything we want in the end, but right about now, I don't think anyone has more than 2k, I myself am not even at 1k since I hadn't returned long before the BUE hit...
First of all, thanks for your question and for everyone's response right after. I'll update the Infinity Session to make it more clear, but the points I've spent are indicatives on soft caps/where the points are better spent. Of course Red Shift is good on her, but you're trading of 4% of damage, 1% of defense and 60 HP on every 25 points for 8% base area damage for every 24 points. In the end of the day, when you sum everything, Durability still better than Red Shift for a long margin. After you reach a confortable zone and she gets more durable, then u can go for Red Shift all the way.
Honestly, I don't know. Looks like I'm not the only one being target of massing downvote. It's really odd, considering that before the BUE, my guide was the most voted in Emma's area. But, well, gladly I have some sweethearts to support me. Thanks for your comment and you're welcome! I'm truly happy to help!
Sadly, it works this way here, mostly famous people who get help from sg / friends and massive downvote on "competition guides" , the most important is that you share your knowledge and that help players who are interested. Just ignore the haters & salty people. Keep your work this way and enjoy the game and your favorite heroes !
Thanks, Tzoruk! That's exactly what I've been trying to do, even if, I must admit, these downvotes makes me sad sometimes. It's lot of hours put into writting stuff just to get downvotes without any reason. The same can be seem in my Angela guide and I believe I'll stop doing them for good. Like you said, there are a lot of people here with this competition mindset. Sometimes I wish MH.info didn't had a vote system AT ALL.
I do agree, i had the same issue with my Deadpool guide, i spent lot of hours in editing my guide, trying things in-game, discussing a lot with mostly LukeFonFabre and exchange some tips & tricks. Sadly, nowadays, people are mostly toxic in games, the sharing spirit used to be for most of new generation players or selfish people.
Hi, first thank you for your template, that help me a lot since I will coming back. I have just some questions : - Using Show Off and Astral Whip will reduce Signature's couldown but with Unlock Potential we have at the end a 15sec Signature and Unlock with 20sec couldown. Do you think that worth to use the 2 skills when only using 1 can put Signature at 21sec CD? - In Synergies you take Hawkeye and Mr Fantastic passives but when I was testing them they up the Critical Damage when you deal it so don't up Brutal Damage deal. Do it worth instead of Black Bolt +2% Critical Rating or other+mental?
2) Poor philosophy in build choices, such as using a cable illusion over a minion with the commanding aura that gives an additional 10% damage and attack speed which is great for her sig and other hits. The minion can do everything the illusion can but better. You have a decent roadmap, but this can be significantly improved.
3) Poor artifact choices, there are MUCH better choices for Emma that will benefit her and increase her BSR which helps her TTK (sig), such as a GOK.
4) Poor infinity points placement. You talk about wanting the Edge of Infinity for the attributes, but wont even put full points in each node, such as sig damage.
5) This build is misleading, it states MENTAL in the tag, but this build is hybrid because of the diamond hit
1. The attributes affixes in most build are just left there so that people know either one is fine.
2. There is one thing minion fail to do while Illusion does not:Stay where you need it to stay. Minion loves to wander about and get lost from time to time, everyone knows that, while the illusion stays exactly where it is put. That may not be selling point for everyone, but it's worth noting anyway. In addition, the illusion can be reapply more often, keeping the taunt up and Emma safe while with minion, this isn't the case all the time.
Very good guide i stomped the trial barely geared and 1:30 left on both, however i am kinda confused on some of your choices, mainly the ones you talk about mainly as easy to get, for example wouldnt be best a cgok than a eoi, also what are your results on the runewords? I happen to have a bowazon ready to use and a doop in use, how much of a difference is it?
and plz tell me if there other items on the guide than arent bis but you put them bc are easyto get.
Hello Daniel, I'm glad you were sucessful on your trial! Regarding my choices, EoI is superior to GoK thanks to the +1 in the attributes, which translates to 8% extra damage for Emma. It's ok if you don't have a EoI but have a GoK, since the difference is abysmal. Regarding Runewords, Bowazon is good on her, but Doop comes ahead thanks to the Show Off skill, which procs her Brutal Damage and help her damage output overall. Regarding the other items, you can always use her uniques or any generic item until you get the said BiS. The game isnt that hard as of now, so you'll do fine with generics!
Madame, this build is amazing. Kepp doing what you do and showing us how to be Emma. BUE was pretty damn kind to her and Telepathic Illusion is just too good. Great work, thank you very much.
I'm not a fan of what her update post BUE brought to her, except, of course, for the Illusion. I really hope the devs can take a look in her talents in the near future. Anyway, thanks for the compliment! <3
And yes, it does use Cable's skill icon. She is untouched since BUE hit live servers. Shame on the devs for the inconsistency. She deserves to be looked at. :|
For some levels of Infinity points there seems to be quite an argument to be made for Zola ESP box over Mental Focus Headband. Zola Rolls 550 Mental Damage, 375 Crit, 3 Int, and a moderately useful Spirit Recovery Proc. Mental Focus Headband Rolls 350 Damage Rating, Less Spirit Recovery per second, 5 Int, and 15% power radius which is of dubious usefulness. So Zola Rolls 200 More Damage but 2 Less Int (which is about 320 Damage Rating and 120 Crit Damage Rating). That means you get 120 Damage and 120 Crit Damage Rating with MFH, but More spirit With Zola and an enormous 375 Crit Rating.
The power radius helps a ton, don't forget about it. I hardly run out of spirit, to be honest. Also, Zola shines more if you drop Illusion for Telepathic Torment. Since this is not the case, Headband is better for her. Also, the extra intelligence help to decrease the medkit regen, which is another huge benefit of stacking intelligence as much as possible.
Edge is better considering the +1 to all attributes and the cosmic affix on Edge is bugged :( I already sent a report to the admins so they can fix it!
I have tryed out your build and it's damn fun. thanks for your guide, you have done a great job again mate. I don't have those item which you are using, but Cosmic mode is easy with this guide.
Hey Tagoris, thanks a bunch for your comment and I'm truly glad the guide helped you! I'll update the artifact section with artifacts that can help you on the long run. I just came back from a trip and have a lot to catch up on life. So, as soon as the things get smoother, I'll update the section, ok? :)
Awesome! I was messing around with Emma after the BUE and wasn't quite happy with what I had, was gonna have to spend some time testing and looking into new artifacts and Talents when I have a chance and then BAM, this site updated Emma build and your guide was up, and I must say, you just save me a whole lot of time reading and testing, because this is PERFECT! I mean, I've hoarded most of these stuff in Stash for a while now, though now I have to go hunt for her slot 3 since the Dark X-men Coat is not bis for her mental build anymore... Upvoted, keep up the good work!
Thank you for the support, MonkeyLord83! This is why I do guides: to help people. I feel extremely happy when I achieve my goal. Dark X-Men still a good choice for her, but the cape just give her the stats she needs, helping with sustain for both health and spirit, while it helps to make her critical damage better. Emma lacks a lot of BSR in her equips so making your CDR and CSR as higher as you can, helps a lot in the long run, so her damage don't suffer from "spikes" all the time, avoiding the gambling with her signature and other cooldown powers.
Thank you and so do I, dear! Make sure to check the description section where I spoke about my talents choice. I'll make a breakdown on why as soon as MH.info update her section! :)
Emma has 2 archetypes. She's Tank in Diamond Form, but Templar when in Normal form. Since this build centers around Mental, Templar is actually correct.
Love your guide's layout. I adore your explanations too. This looks like a build that, obviously, can complete all forms of the game. I downvoted because I came to the guide due to the title being a "Mental Build," when the reality is that it's a Hybrid Build. So I felt a tiny bit mislead by your title and tagging. Otherwise though, I wish it was what I was looking for.
One power doesn't make the build really hybrid. I blame Gazillion with the bad implementation of Perfection who leaves nothing else to be used. It still a mental build and all the gears are oriented towards mental. It's sad and unfair that, because of a single power, I got a downvote, but that's ok. Thanks for the feedback anyway.
First I just want to reinterate that the build looks excellent, for what it's meant to be. But I also want to explain my downvote and why I feel it to be fair. I would not have actually come to your build, if it was labeled properly. While I understand from your own response and your write up why you feel the way you do? Using a Diamond Power puts this literally within the exact definition of a Hybrid build. So while I agree with you, also, about Perfection's implementation? I felt mislead by your tagging. I had hope of a pure mental build being viable and was therefor let down.
You again? You might be crazy to think that I'd lost my time creating accounts to upvote my guides. I spent too much time writing and polishing them already. I'm as surprised as you are to see over 50 freaking upvotes in that short amount of time.
I've sent a message to the administrators of this site before asking them, kindly, to remove any upvote/downvote from spam accounts and they gladly did. I don't need to create accounts, I don't need upvotes and I don't seek for fame or attention. I'm looking to help, as always. But you're free to believe in what you want. ;)
