Hello, I want to ask if this build is related to the Ashton Kutcher movie? Will I be able to go back in time if I use this build? I already tried the thing with the Delorean, but that didn't end so well for me or that Walmart. Please answer as soon as you can. There are many things I would like to change in my life and your build may be the answer that I have been looking for.
I was struggling to pick which hero to obtain(I lack Black Bolt, Mr. Fantastic and Psylocke) with the stash tab conversion I got, luckily I came across your build which sparked my interest. The build makes sense and is easy to follow. Your in-depth guide on the items you use and runewords are excellent. Thank you for this.
Hey mate!!! Nice guide and build! Cheers. Very much appreciated. I wanted to ask though, are you pleeeeease going to make a psylocke ranged one too? :) Thanks.
Yeah I know but at least Id love to have two choices, ranged and this wonderful melee build :). If you can and have the time and energy make one please for ranged. Even lacking Im pretty sure you will do a nice build :). Cheers mate.
Great guide! I love Psylocke and when the BUE came I was begging for a guide like yours to help me out with the gear. I'd like to ask you, where do you get that 1,1k of Psi Barrier from? Thanks for your guide, I really apreciate the effort and time spent :D
Thank you. The extra barrier comes from spare infinity points in Mind Gem and I've been trying Book of Eibon lately. It's a good item but I'm not sure how I feel about recommending it due to how the cosmic version of Eibon seems to mostly be a myth at this point. I feel like it's more realistic to suggest a Flag instead.
Come to think of it, a couple of the videos might have been with an old catalyst that added spirit also.
Thank you. I listed gear for both DPS and a more defensive setup exactly for the reason. It was my goal to make this build accessible so I'm glad to hear that.
this build still running well today? i wonder if i remove psionic projection i destroy the build? >.< cause i love psy moves but barely can see her with the summons i hate summoners because of that.
Hi .. good guide .. but one question .. what do you think about Doop Inspiration instead of Bowazone, it has at least chr and bsr and some other usefull stuff ?
Ups .. forget it .. didn't noticed the bsr proc :/
Great build. I am glad I finally dusted off Psylocke and gave her another go. One question, I am using a cosmic Tanya's at the moment, as per your build, but I also have a cosmic hood of the reaper, do you recommend that instead, or maybe sub out another arti such as the flag which is not cosmic? I assume I should be keeping the ESP box, even though that's not cosmic yet, either.
EDIT: I subbed out the flag and am running a cosmic love letter & hood, and a regular crown and ESP box, using psionic vortex instead of psionic assault. I think that should work :)
An inspiring psylockle player here, I posted my own psylocke build here as well just a few hours ago BEFORE reading ANY builds, that moment you think you got BIS for everything and then you look at the best build and realize jsut how far you are behind, as for survivality what do you think about spider-woman insig and lizard medallion, as well as cargill's cosmic artifact as all of those restore barrier
I've been told that Spider-Woman's insignia doesn't work with the barrier but I haven't confirmed this for myself because I don't have a good Spider-Woman insignia. That aura isn't very good anyway so I haven't been in a hurry to test this.
Anyway, the mechanic behind the barrier is that it reduces damage received by 50%. The cool thing is that this damage reduction still applies even if an attack breaks the barrier. This means that as long as the barrier has at least one point remaining then you're always going to recieve half damage... 1/2
2/2 ... It's worth pointing out there is something of a bug related to this where taking a lot of damage in a short period of time adds a delay before the barrier works properly again unless Psi-Thrust, Exploit Weakness, or Psi-Crush is used. Increased barrier regen doesn't help with this either.
In short, what matters most is that the regeneration is always there, the quantity restored at a time doesn't matter much. Gearing for survivability isn't a bad thing, just that going heavy on spirit regen isn't the best way to do it for Psylocke.
There's a paragraph in the guide addressing this already but essentially it's not as good. The only feasible way to get the brutal damage would be to use Shadow Dash instead of Psi-Thrust which is just a worse skill in terms of damage and survivability (no barrier regen). Also critical hit, brutal strike, and damage procs are more valuable than they used to be. Combine that all together and as strange as it may sound without fail I got better results with Bowazon than Power Doop every time.
It's actually better now (for non-dedicated summoners at least) than it was pre-patch. Same for Octobot. Those high critical damage rolls are very significant.
Question your set up on the top of the screen does not include flag but the two screen shots for the two different builds do include flags so is flag or gok better?
