Just wondering why you run Repulser Barrage over Repulser Blast? Repulser Blast deals 10% more dps over Repulser Barrage as long as you keep suit power over 50%, which is inherintly easy.
Comes down to feel. If clearing trash then Repulsor Barrage is better. If only soloing bosses then Repulsor Blast feels better. It's not enough extra damage that it completely outclasses Barrage. If the boss has adds as well then Barrage comes back into prominence. The animation of Barrage is also non-existent vs Blast.
I really like your build as always, Boptimus. I am experimenting with Dust of Death and BFG in slot 1 instead of fragment. I like High Commander's Armor better in Slot 3. I think the slot 4 is a wash with Skrull Military Uniform. I really think Essence of Jinn is BIS for slot 5.
Your artifacts are solid. I use Improved Arc Reactor, HOD and Cyclops T-shirt but I went away from GOK in favor of Mental Focus Headband.
I swap out M'Kraan for Shield for the legendary if I need more defense.

Would you be able to list some item alternatives for artefacts, rings, etc. I get that you'd want best in slot (who wouldn't) but some of us don't have a lot of best in slot items :-(
Alt Stuff would be a great asset.. Specially for Uniques. A lot of new players couldn't grab the unique tsunami from last year, and struggle to get a coat of the skull or a skrull Uniform.. And the omnipresent FoT, BiS for everyone, and damn expensive to get!
Tyvm for this build - cleared CMM Trial with basic unique items. Also did it with no legend gem. No catalyst and no pet bonus. This way to powerfull build if played correctly. Thanks for making Ironman stand out above the rest. Even my Thor with endgame gear and 4k dps dont come close to this 2k build of my ironman. Thanks!
It seems they've removed the crafting recipe for Crossbone's Tactical Vest, what's a good alternative? Is his own slot 3 okay or should i use something else?
With the changes to Iron Man's attributes CTC no longer is a viable choice over Cyclops Was Right T-Shirt. Iron Man benefits from each stat on the shirt.
Haha that's just the default amount this site lets you allocate. Everybody will always be at a different spot, esp since its infinite, which is why he put order preference in the content.
Trying to buy an Arc Reactor off trade is the best thing any player who wants to main Iron Man but doesn't already own an Improved Arc Reactor can do. Farming the Danger Room Merits is easily enough done for a Cyclops was Right T-Shirt, along with the replacement for the Sling Ring which is Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters Class Ring. The easiest replacement for Fragment of Twilight is Modified Assault Rifle which can be farmed from Crossbones. If that isn't an option either then picking up his own slot one is a distant third.
now that ive fooled with your build a bit, do think u instead of upgrade microlasers talent u could get upgrade targeting computer instead and then use repulser spray instead of microlaser? what do u think about that?
There's minimal difference between using 24 payload Micro-Missiles and Microlasers. The other issue brought up with this particular change would be the fact that it changes Repulsor Blast. Repulsor Blast itself has high DPS which is also a factor that should be taken into account. Another issue on top of the previous one is that The One Off goes from a 15s cool down skill to a 20s cool down skill.
The Sling Ring can be replaced with a Xavier's Class Ring. The shirt can be replaced with AMA or Nick Fury Shirt or Sharbus or any good artifact. The Arc Reactor can be replaced with anything that gives a moderate amount of spirit.
LOLURBAD I don't know why your attacking Boptimus but Iron Man is now one of the better heroes in the game and even though i dont agree with BOP's build due to some bad gearing choices Iron Man is far from worst and BOP is a good player. so just shut the hell up.
Check the build guide. All of the options that are on this list have logic behind them. +Fighting does benefit Iron Man directly, as it grants critical chance. The Mkraan vs Norn Stones debate is fierce and both have their merits but Norn Stones is over all higher damage output with a proc that can/will save a defeat from happening. Iron Man doesn't need to be more durable, he has enough from what you wear. Sacrificing the slot 5 to damage and running norn stones or Mkraan is probably the best way to go. I'm glad to discuss at length in game if you'd like.
Sincerely, i tried but couldn't see their places and i will explain why: Iron man is not a stealth character so it wont benefit from the unaware damage from nisanti boots all the time, rescue can't keep bosses taunt all the time. Also the atributes are completely out of place and IM doesnt benefit from them. His own unique boots are better: Raw dmg rating active all time, power duration cost reduction, BDR proc and the right atributes
Norn stones are garbage right now IMO: Spread dmg ratings and useless proc with long 1 min cd. For just 500 dmg rating, thats a not big deal, Mkraan Crystal gives 150 more spirit, 1500 HP and an actually useful dmg proc with lower cd.
Hydra Medallion have fighting atribute thats not useful for IM. Skrull Medallion of Bravery is a better option for general use, since IM doesnt have a medallion that actually match his atributes. Doctor doom medallion as a second option.
Also, Helm of Doom is a more useful slot 5, it will make IM more tanky
in time Vioshine. there is no reason to put 3000 points in a guide. simply put your actual points in a build & you could put in description what to max after what you have started.

i must say this sounds alot like a hate rant.But i have a excellent idea, why dont LOLURBAD, make a Iron Man guide here? :D from all the typing he has done he already claims to be alot better so why hasnt he made one? or is this all talk and no action like most trolls ;)
