upvoted cause im currently running a very similar build lol. only difference is i don't use covert assassin... as far as i can see it looks like its used for survivability? either way great build! :D
Yes, survivability/group healing and because there wasn't anything else I wanted to put on the bar over the utility for my rotation. In most content you really won't need it for Laura herself, but it was pretty invaluable for doing Cosmic Kaecilius without dying. Now that Covert Assassin actually gets the proper cooldown reduction, in AOE kill zones you can have an incredibly high uptime on it, too.
Lovely build :D random question, which affixes are you looking for on your Cosmic artifacts? i would gess +1 to all attributes from one of your artifacts, can't decide my self about the other affixes
I've only gotten one so far (and there was MUCH rejoicing when that grappling hook dropped) and I did indeed go with +1 to All Attributes. As far as what to do with the others, I'm not sure there's that many super enticing options. I'll likely go with Dodge and Defense. The others seem like washes. Maybe Health, so I can put those infinity points in something else.
Because I definitely do not need the Brutal Strike Rating, and wanted to buff overall damage, not just Brutal Strike Damage. It's definitely a viable option if you prefer it, though Laura needs very, very little help to get high Crit/Brutal because of her Killer Trance.
Huge fan of this build. Good job. What do you think about a Lizard Formula for her? Also, it would be nice if you could add a link to your more in depth forum build somewhere in this build.
You could absolutely use Lizard Formula. Attack speed is something I don't have much of in my build, and the resource restore would help you offset what you spend on quicker attacks.

For one, because I wanted to construct a build demonstrating that X-23 is cosmic viable right out the gate without having to acquire expensive uniques that many people won't have access to, or may only have one of.
Laura's Slot 1 provides +5 Speed, and Boss Damage, while most of the things on Fragment you can get other places in her Kit already. Fragment Provides a chunk of Health, which is nice but again you can get elsewhere.
Fragment is obviously absolutely feasible, I just hate using it on general principle myself, for the same reason I used to avoid Gungnir on every toon ever.
